Start your mornings dockside watching the morning dew lift from the calming waters. Enjoy the breath taking view of the lake and the sun rise in front of your eyes. Take advantage of the numerous outdoor activities such as a nature walk, bike ride or any of the water sports. The swimming and the fishing are excellent! Play a round of golf at the local Country Club if that's your passion. Or better yet, hunt for some bargains at the the nearby outlet centers. (Manchester/Lake George)There is always time to attend one of our summer theatres. (Weston /Dorset) Have an adventure at an amusement park (Great Escape) or take one of Vermont's fine factory tours.(Ben and Jerry's, Vermont Teddy Bear, and Magic Hat Brewery) After a full day, unwind by having a nice BBQ on the grill and roasting some marshmallows fireside.

Family Fun: We are proud to have been owners of this property for more than 50 years. Now our third generation is able to enjoy beautiful Lake St. Catherine. We want you to be able to enjoy our home as we have for so many years. Family is what we specialize in. Our property has a large yard and an excellent swimming location for the little ones. Walk in beach, an added bonus! We also provide a paddle boat and row boat for your use. There are also two docks for a large boat if you prefer. Many people enjoy taking walks or bike rides around the lake too. The best part is that you control what you want to participate in.
Local Attractions: Our local area has many treasures. If you are interested in local history, we are nestled in the colored slate capital of the world. The Slate Valley Museum which is located over the border in Granville, NY is a great place to start, not to mention the Pember Museum across the bridge. Another site is Robert Todd Lincoln's estate 'Hildene' in Manchester. A little further away in Dorset (about 20 min.)many locals hangout at the natural marble quarry where many people like to swim or sunbathe.
If you enjoy a good bargain, there is always outlet shopping in nearby Manchester, VT or Lake George, NY. Old world antique hunting is abundant and estate sales on weekends too. There's always adventure when you can attend a theme park, the Great Escape/Splash Water Kingdom or Waterslide World located in Lake George, NY. The factory tours in our area are fantastic! There is the Ben & Jerry's factory tour, Vermont Teddy Bear, Magic Hat Brewery or Long Trail Brewery. Something for everyone's taste.
