Located high on a Villa Borinquen hill near Isabel Segunda on fabulous Vieques, Cacimar House offers a great mix of spacious living indoors and out, handsome grounds and privacy - without sacrificing proximity to town the south shore beaches or airport. Three spacious bedrooms with lots of light - one king, one queen and one with a double and two twins. The house sleeps 6. With Cacimar House is designed over two floors, with formal dining room, open plan kitchen, equipped with dishwasher, microwave and gas stove. Bright living room with walk-outs to the spacious terrace overlooking the grounds. The laundry room with washer, dryer and stocked with linens and towels is adjacent the kitchen. One full bathroom with shower is downstairs. Cacimar House has ceiling fans and two flat screen TVs with DVD. The grounds are well kept with lime, cotton and flowering tropical plants. Cacimar House has a brand-new pool off the terrace.

Great Stay at Cacimar House

Our extended family of five spent eight great days at Cacimar House. The house is extremely comfortable and well equiped - beach chairs, mats, umbrellas, towels, etc. The fact that it is up in the hills really does ensure great breezes, which not only makes the house more comfortable, but also reduces bugs. The pool is small, but perfect for a nice dip when returning to the house from a day out and about. With three teenagers in our clan, having three separate bathrooms (including one where the shower and the toilet/sink are in different rooms) was very helpful. The owner is a pleasure to deal with and the managers of the property were very professional and efficient.

Fantasy Island!?

Wow! What a great week we spent on Vieques at Cacimar House!

The house is well appointed and tastefully decorated with everything you could need - towels, beach chairs, cds, dvds, washer, dryer, dishwasher. The owners are incredibly helpful as are the property managers. The house is well situated - close to great restaurants and with a beautiful view of the rolling hills. There is even a papaya tree to provide you with fresh fruit for breakfast!

Vieques is the greatest blend of casual sophistication. Beautiful isolated beaches, great restaurants, fun bars, even a W Resort to kick it up a notch!

Highly recommended!

The Best in Vieques!

For over 20 years my husband and I have been renting vacation homes for our annual trip to Vieques. In 2009 we discovered Cacimar House, by far the best. This beautiful home, which sits high on a hill, is tastefully furnished, very well appointed and immaculate. The owner, Charlie McKee, is responsive and involved. The caretakers, Paul and Ricci, are friendly, informative and efficient.

My favorite room is the screened sun-porch off the master bedroom which is the perfect place to curl up with a good book.

Whether watching the sunset from the outdoor patio or enjoying a swim in the lovely pool, you can gaze across the sea to glimpse Fajardo and Culebra in the distance. Heaven!

However, behavioral data is even more meaningful than words, and we'll be returning for our third straight annual visit in March 2011.
