Cozy Cabin indeed!

  • 4 of 5

Fran was super friendly from the beginning and very precise on directions and expectations for the cottage. This met our needs for a quiet weekend away without the kids. The heat worked well and we actually stayed on the pullout couch to be close to the wood stove. For dinner we drove to Lenox and it was a short drive. I would recommend this for anyone looking to get away for peace and quiet.

Owner's Response: Thanks so much for the great review of the cabin for your winter getaway. It was fun being able to make this all happen so you could get away at the last minute and enjoy some winter ambience. The fire can be irresistable on a cold winter day. Glad to hear that you took advantage of the fine dining just up the road in Lenox and Lee . Hope you get a chance to come again another time and enjoy an even different season. It was a pleasure having you .

A wonderful weekend, as always

  • 5 of 5

This is our 4th trip here, and as always we had a wonderful time. The cabin was perfect, cozy and warm. We have been in the winter before, but there is a lot of snow this year, and the cabin looked so inviting, nestled in the snow. Even though it was 5 below zero outside, the wood stove kept us so warm we had to open a window for a little while. Fran was wonderful, as usual, and everything was ready and waiting for us. I have already booked again for next year and am considering another visit this fall. Book this cabin - you will not be disappointed!

Thanks for your continued vote of confidence. I do hope that you are able to come up in the fall and enjoy a crisp fall day by the firepit with another perspective . I appreciate your terrific review and look forward to seeing you next year. Fran

Great place, super host!

We had a last minute cancelation and Fran was more than accommodating. We found the place to be better than expected, cozy, stocked for all our needs, and centrally located to enjoying all of the Berkshires. Easy in and and out to anywhere. Highly recommended

We loved Wisteria!!

  • 5 of 5

Hubby and I celebrated our anniversary at Wisteria and had a great stay! The cabin is well stocked, Fran has thought of everything! Very cozy relaxing by the fire in the wood burning stove every night. Can't beat the location, close to many attractions and restaurants, but far enough away that it is peaceful and relaxing. We are already planning our next stay. Thanks for sharing this wonderful cottage!

I am so glad you both had the time for a special anniversary trip and were able to unwind by the fire. You took great care of everything and it was obvious that you enjoyed the respite. I was happy to have you both as my guests for a long weekend and look forward to your next planned trip. I love sharing Wisteria with such kind and fun loving couples. The best anniversary get away EVER!!!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I decided to stay at this cabin to get away from it all for our 10 year anniversary. The owner (Fran) was very prompt and helpful setting up our wonderful romantic weekend. She provided so much detailed information of the area and attractions as well as what is provided and what we would need to bring.

We pulled up Friday afternoon to the beautiful cabin and my wife was so happy, this place is beautiful!!! We walked around outside first before we went inside and discovered the beautiful little brook running thru the back yard. When we entered the cabin we found a very nice note from Fran and a very thoughtful gift. The cabin is very clean and cozy. Everything you need and more is there. Fran goes above and beyond accommodating you with all the necessities. We had plenty of Firewood for those nights we curled up by the fire. There is plenty of shops and fine dining in Lee, MA. only 12 min away. We had the most amazing dinner at the Salmon Run Fish House and the service was incredible. The whole experience was amazing and we left so relaxed and happy that we made the choice to stay here. We recommend this cabin to anyone that wants to have a romantic get away or just a quite relaxing time.

Thank you so much Fran,

Joseph & Angela...

Owner's Response: Wow, you guys are making me blush. Thanks so much for the wonderful review of Wisteria. I know this trip was a long time in planning and I am absolutely thrilled to hear about all the fun you had. You were fortunate to have great weather and just that "touch of fall" to make the nights romantic and cozy. It was a pleasure talking with you back in August and hard to believe that the time was here so quickly. I hope that you can come again and explore even more of the area. With the cabin being open year round, there are always lots of options. Your dinner sounds perfect for the occasion also. Thanks for your upbeat and positive attitude and all of the great comments. Fran

Wisteria Cottage has it all!

  • 5 of 5

We loved staying at this cottage! We visit the Berkshires each summer for a weekend getaway - and so happy that we found this gem on Home Away. Wisteria Cottage offers great accomodations - starting with the lovely porch to enjoy your morning coffee, to a stocked kitchen with all of the staples, and ending with the peaceful sound of the stream that runs right behind the house.

The location was great for us as we were really on the go from the time of our arrival, so having Jacob's Ladder closeby to hop on and off was great. Wisteria Cottage gave us a a great sense of privacy without being in total seclusion.

Fran is a wonderful host! We were greeted with a very thoughtful gift basket and card welcoming us to the cabin. Fran was very helpful with providing us information on the area that came in handy - she even looked up and sent me info on local bakeries knowing it was my boyfriend's birthday. She puts alot of thought into the final touches around the cabin that you truly feel like you are staying at a relatives and/or friend's place.

I highly recommend this cabin and look forward to visiting again next year!

Thank you Fran!

Jillian & Kevin
