Light and airy, this beautiful, new, 2000 square foot home has every modern convenience for a family. Within walking distance to bay beaches and yet secluded enough to enjoy privacy and sunsets from the wrap around deck. Close to town and 10 minutes to the ocean beaches, the downstairs portion of the house has a great room with cathedral ceilings, maple floors, fireplace and two sliding doors to the deck. The tiled, square kitchen with stainless steel appliances has an eating counter and is open to the dining/living area. Down the hallway, there are two carpeted bedrooms (one queen, the other two twins) and a full bath and washer/dryer room. Upstairs, there is a large den with a futon (queen), bath and large master bedroom (queen). Creature comforts abound. There is a chenille down filled sofa, ottomans for the chairs, the dining room table seats 8-10. Outside there are 2 chaise lounges, a teak table and chairs, a cafe table and a barbecue grill.Wireless Internet+Ping Pong table.

Our house is located on a hilltop off a dirt road on the bay side of Wellfleet. We are within walking distance of town and Mayo Beach. While we are centrally located, our specific spot is tranquil and secluded.

Wellfleet offers ocean beaches, bay beaches and fresh water ponds for swimming. Our house is located about 1/2 a mile from the bay beaches and less than a mile from town. The town of Wellfleet is a most welcoming place and is lined with art galleries, quaint shops and many cafes and restaurants. With a permit, you can dig for shellfish or have a campfire on the beach. Visit the Audubon Society or walk on the National Seashore trails. Make sure that you don't miss the farewell-to-the-Cape sunsets at Duck Harbor.
