Just built in 2008: 1 BR, 1BA, sleeps 2

You will love the central location of this charming brand new (2008) stand alone cottage just over one block from the cobblestones of lower Main Street! (17a Washington St, across from flagpole). The 1 bedroom is well equipped with high end appliances, washer, dryer, air conditioner, two flat screen TVs (one in the bedroom and one in the living room) and furnishings! Everything brand new this Spring! Gleaming hardwood floors, wainscoting on walls, cathedral ceilings, new kitchen, new bathroom, new everything! High end kitchen with LG refrigerator and dishwasher and wine cooler. This cottage will comfortably hold a couple. All you can wish for; shops, restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops are within a very short and lovely walk. If you prefer to have a car let us know, as there is parking available. We love pets, but we have a strict no pet rule...even hypoallergenic pets are not allowed...We also strictly prohibit smoking indoors...One of our family is Highly Allergic. Thanks

Please call for more pictures!: This cottage is brand new construction... just finished in 2008. It has high ceilings throughout and is fully insulated on all six sides. A caretaker lives next door to help with anything.

Location is everything... and a brand new, charming cottage with great appliances is just a bonus! The cottage is just over a block from the cobblestones of lower Main Street, on 17a Washington Street. It is in town and is a very close walk to everything...shops, restaurants, beaches, the ferry, grocery store, museums and NRTA Shuttle Bus. We are one block from the harbor and one and a half blocks from Main St.

One of us is highly allergic to cats and dogs...sorry, strictly no pets...even visiting pets! No smoking inside the cottage for the same reason!. Thank you.

My wife & I went to Nantucket for our 25th anniversary in May. "Samtucket" was a great choice for us. It provided everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Location was excellent, just 1 small block from the down town area. We had never been to Nantucket being "north shore" folks, but it was a great visit. We took our Honda scooters via the ferry and were able to explore the island and the beaches with out any automobile pressure. Sam was a great host and responsive to questions.

Perfect Honeymoon getaway!

My husband and I stayed in this home for 2 weeks this summer (2012) and it was PERFECT! We were looking for a cottage to call home that was close to town and had all of the amenities of an inn/hotel. We had stayed at the house for a week prior to getting married and then honeymooned on Nantucket for another week. The house had everything a couple would need to be comfortable for a short term stay or weeks! The bedroom is clean and comfortable with closet space and a dresser for your clothes. The living room and bedroom have large flat screen TVs with cable. The bathroom is extremely clean and feels like you are in a hotel suite. There is a large shower stall and brand new washer/dryer with fresh towels. The kitchen/living room has plenty of space all of the cooking tools you'll need to make a home cooked meal or BBQ :-)

The owner of the house is very responsive and the local property manager is always nearby if you need anything. Our coffee maker stopped working in the middle of the week and I emailed the owner to let him know. To my surprise, there was a new coffeemaker waiting on our doorstep the next day!

I would recommend this property to any couple that is looking for a clean, comfortable home in town with all of the amenities of a hotel at your fingertips.

We will definitely be back!

A Real Gem!

We had family renting all over the island for the week, but my husband and I wanted a place in town just for us, and we found a gem in Samtucket! It's the perfect location within walking distance of anything you could need - ferries, grocery store, restaurants, shopping. You don't need a car, but we did due to all the back and forth planned, so the parking spot was a plus for us.

The cottage was extremely clean, new and beautifully decorated (we even commented on how soft the sheets were!) They thought of everything you could need - linens, cleaning supplies, towels, etc. The owner was so accommodating and always got back to me quickly with any questions.

We highly recommend this property and will definitely be back in the future!

Immaculate Place to Stay!!

This cottage was the perfect place for our little family of 3 to stay! The cottage is very clean and has everything you need - from laundry facilities to a kitchen filled with all necessities, including a dishwasher! The cottage is in a great location, just a minute away from Main Street. We were able to comfortably walk to the shops, restaurants, and a few beaches! We truly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend this cottage! It was, without hesitation, a home away from home!!

Perfect little cottage Nantucket Town!

This was my first visit to Nantucket after 6 years of living in Boston and was looking for a small, but nice place to stay in town. This cottage is brand new, and has everything you need for a relaxing stay on the island: Large combo living room/kitchen/dining area, bedroom with a queen sized bed, and a large bathroom with full-size, new front-load laundry. For those not-so-nice weather days on the island, there are two HD TVs, and a DVD player in the living room, as well as WiFi. The kitchen and bath were well stocked with necessities, and the kitchen is capable of cooking a nice dinner with a small oven and 4 burners on the cooktop. There is also a nice gas grill outside.

The location is great: literally steps to Main Street, the ferry/wharf, dining, and shopping. WE LOVED IT!
