A great cottage for a budget vacation at the Outer Banks, just 500' from the Rodanthe Fishing Pier, its rental comes with a FREE PIER FISHING/SIGHTSEEING PASS FOR UP TO 6 PERSONS. Completely updated and remodeled in 2008/09, this Saturday to Saturday rental cottage provides you with both comfort and easy access to all the wonders of Hatteras Island. You also have your own lake behind the cottage where the family can practice its skills before heading for the 'big water'. Yes, there are good sized fish in it! And after a fun filled OBX day, relax in the great 6-person hot tub where you can enjoy the sound of the surf breaking onto the beach. Rodanthe has a water slide, go carts, kayak and sailboat rentals as well as several local fishing stores and surf shops. Hatteras Island's full of historical sights, including the Wright Brothers Memorial in Kitty Hawk, 5 light houses and Ocracoke Island where you can enjoy turning back the clock of time as you walk through its quaint village.

There you can enjoy bowsing the shops in its quaint village, see one of the oldest light houses on the outer banks, dine at one of its several fine restaurants, or, for a small fee, travel on by ferry to the mainland at Wilmington, NC.

Wonderful cottage

This is a wonderful cottage. We like it so much we have stayed there twice this year. The cottage is very clean and well kept. It is just as you see it in the picture . It comes with a washer/dryer, fully furnished kitchen, and great heating/air system. There is a fishing pond out back, it is just a short walk to the pier/beach, and comes with free fishing passes to the pier. Located around this cottage is shopping, dinning, and attractions for all ages. The owners are just wonderful to work with and even called us to make sure our stay was going well. This rental is worth every penny.

Cozy and Relaxing place.

My family and I enjoyed the cottage by the pier. The photos are all accurate. For the price you could not ask for more.

The owners are so easy to deal with, no suprises, and all as expected.

It really was so cozy you felt like it was your home away from home.

We did not want to leave and hope to return again.

2 week getaway

This cottage is is wonderful. It could not have been in a better location, very short walk to the beach and fishing pier as well as amusments and shops a couple blocks in the other direction. The owners are excellent and want nothing more than to ensure you have a worry free relaxing getaway. It is a cozy small place among all the huge estates they build in that area, we loved our stay and definetely hope to return.

Great Cozy Getaway

This was the second time we rented this place and we loved it! Our poodles enjoyed walking the beach and I loved fishing behind the house. Perfect for the 4 of us and wonderful during the off seasons when we have rented. Really a great getaway.

This is a great little cottage - perfect for small families and it welcomes pets! We have stayed here two years in a row and both have been great experiences! I love the location - it offers beach and pier access.
