This is a custom built vacation home with cathedral ceilings, hardwood floors, air-conditioned, built in music speakers throughout the home, 32 inch flat screen TV, cable. This home is 3 blocks from the town of Pentwater, MI. This home would be perfect for larger gatherings. Enjoy the beautiful sunsets at the beaches of Lake Michigan which are about a 15 min walk/ or 2 min drive. This brand new 2006 home is complete with everything you will need with the exception of your linens (sheets and towels not provided). A very large wrap around covered porch is complete with rocking chairs and a large section of the porch is screened in. The home has 3300 sq ft (including porch)and includes, 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, 700sqft porch, outdoor gas barbecue, picnic table and plenty of games. The home is in a secluded and quiet neighborhood and the property is wooded on all fours sides of the home. The home has 2 great rooms 18X30 main floor, 14X30 on LL. Premium mattresses on all beds.

Perfect vacation 2008

We rented this vacation home and had the times of our lives. We had room enough for not only our children but grandchildren as well. The home had all that we needed for our vacation and more. Fully stocked kitchen with blender, and full amenities, all utensils, pots, pans etc. All we needed to buy was our food which we located a block away at a local fine grocery store that cut our steaks to order. The sound system throughout the home was impressive as is the layout. We entertained the adults in the evening on the upperlevel while the children had the whole downstairs to themselves including their own kitchen,, with the walk out into the woods for their bonfire and movies for later than evening. The home was immaculate and custom made and well thought out. The only recommendation I would make is to bring a bike or two if you could as that would have been enjoyable for the kids to bike around town. Fishing was plentiful and the neighborhood quiet yet inviting. So much to do we should have stayed for two weeks. Everything was close enough to walk to even the beach. We will return next year God willing. Charles D,

The best of everything

This home was clean and top of the line ameneties, loved the whole house surround sound and flat screen tv on the wall. We walked everywhere and loved to leave our car in the driveway never having to use it. We walked to the town where there are restaurants, ice cream parlors, gift shops and to the harbor where my children fished. The walk to the beach was fine for us in that we brought a wagon for our 2 year old. The beach was spectacularly clean with nice bathrooms, showers and snack shop. Oh also they had swingsets and places for kids to fish off of the pier. We have booked another vacation this summer and are looking forward to it. I highly recommend. Indiana Mom

Pentwater Relaxation

This property was clean and comfortable with a nice kitchen, and having two living spaces was great with kids. They had their videos, Legos, etc. downstairs and we had a tv, reading space upstairs in the living room and lovely screened-in porch. The area is very quiet...we even saw deer...but yet walkable to downtown shops and restaurants. It's pretty far to walk to the beach with young children (6 and under) so we drove and bought a parking pass. The beach is fabulous: soft sand, lots of space for flying kites, food concessions, bathrooms, etc. My kids also loved the mini-golf/go-kart place on the north side of town, the dune ride at Silver Lake, and the kite and toy stores. If I could have added anything, it would be nice to have linens included (it's a pain to haul them) and high-speed internet (you can walk to a local restaurant for free wi-fi). Also there is a very nice sound system throughout the house but bring your own CD player. To sum up, I would absolutely recommend this rental as an off-beach relaxing home with many amenities. Pentwater is fabulous for families.
