We are a married retired couple who love the ocean. We purchased our first rental property on Hatteras Island in 2001, and this one in 2004. Lived in Rodanthe for 3 years (2006-2009), and became investors in other rental properties. We learned from our own renting experiences that what's most important to renters is cleanliness, quality furnishings, well equipped kitchen, and most of all honesty on the part of the owners! We make every effort to provide all of these, and the guest reviews herein confirms this! We will always provide the very best to our guests!
It's located in a great residential area on a quiet deadend street, just 600 feet from the ocean. It was not in the best of shape when we purchased it, but we could see great potential. It was totally remolded inside in 2005, including all new furnishings, complete kitchen, and exposed ceiling beams on the bottem level. An upper deck over the screened-in back porch was added in 2010. It overlooks St. Waves lake. Our guests love the decor and quietness of the area as the 5-star reviews confirm.
Quiet area, dead end street with private access to a great and un-crowed beach, even during peak season. Has 6 person hot tub, and all the other comforts of home!
