Tobyhanna Vacation Rental house

We had a great time staying here. We stayed for one week and the owners were great to deal with. Communicated well via email. We were a little disappoined that the description included a boat and paddles and when we arrived it was a styrofoam boat that barely held two adults and the paddles were broken and made it impossible to steer the boat. We made due and the owner was understanding of our disappointment in the boat situation. The bathroom had a weird smell too it and some of us could smell a pet smell in the house which was not pleasing. The living room was spacious and plenty of beds. The deck was nice with two tables. The listing said charcoal grill and when we arrived it was an old gas grill with no burners which is very unsuitable for charcoal because their are inadequate vents and the coals sit way too low to get high heat. If we would have known we would have brought other means to cook because we planned half our dinners for grilling. We improvised and made it work but were not super happy with that discovery. We left the property cleaner than when we found it. I would recommend it to a friend but I would also make them aware of where we were happy and where we were disappointed. Over all I would rate our happiness with what we found upon arrival a 7 out of 10. We were a little disappoined but were committed to having a good time and made the very few trivial disappointments into workable solutions.
