Surrounded by the clean, tranquil beaches of Fenwick Island, this sparkling home offers great third-floor ocean views from enormous round windows and decks. Perfect for 3 families with young children or groups of friends, the home features 4 master suites 3 with king-size beds & 1 Jr. Master with a queen-size bed, a room with queen bed & 1 set of bunks. You’ll also find a den with a queen bed, and a large playroom with 1 queen futon and two single futons; and lots of bathrooms- a walk-in shower, a soaking tub, and 4 shower/tubs, 4 of which are in Jack-and-Jill (with shared toilet) bathrooms.Sprawl out in the living room in front of the wide-screen LCD high-definition TV with the gang, use Hi Speed Internet-Wifi, or retreat to one of the other 4 cable TVs/DVDs. The spacious, ultra-modern kitchen includes 2 refrigerators and a complete array of cookware and counter top appliances. Nearby you can swim, shell, hike, fish, play miniature golf, or eat fresh made carmel corn.

Going to the Beach and Other Details: The guarded beach is about 40 yards away from the house and there is off street parking for 6. And if you need it, we supply parking passes for on street parking. There is also access to a large state park beach right up the road with plenty of parking. The park has life guard, showers, rest rooms, snack bar, and umbrella rentals and the beach was replenished in the Fall of 2005 so it is very wide. Fenwick’s beach is guarded, quiet and not at all crowed as you need to have a resident pass to park which restricts the number of beach goers. We supply 2 Wonder Wheel Beach Caddies that holds Full 48 qt. Cooler and up to 4 chairs, plus sturdy mesh bag storing tons of gear.

Day Trip about a half hour from Fenwick: Rehoboth Beach: The town is much larger than Bethany and boasts many shopping and dining options. You can also go antiquing. There is also fabulous sales tax free outlet shopping at 140 Outlet stores. Lewes: Smaller than Rehoboth but a good day trip...very quaint.

Ideal for Families and Groups: This would be the perfect house for a family, a group of golfers, small family reunions, showers, 'crafty ladies', small business or religious retreats-attendees must stay in the home, or just for a quiet vacation. . You could lease this house for a weekend, week or a month, and enjoy every minute of the comfortable and beautiful surroundings provided in the furnishings, appointments and neighborhood

The town Fenwick spans about 14 blocks and the stores and activities are an easy walk from the house. The town hall has a good playground for children, a basketball half court, and a shuffle board court and a picnic area. A few of our favorite restaurants include Nantucket’s and House of Welsh. I have been renting my beach vacation rental homes since 1985 when I rented my 1985 new 7 bedroom oceanfront home in N Bethany for $26,000 for a season. Which I didn't sell it in 1989!

Things To Do In The Area:

The town Fenwick – Called the Quiet Resort - spans about 14 blocks and within a 10 minute walking distance are over 15 restaurants, stores and activities are an easy walk from the house. The two best restaurants are Just Hooked and Natuckets. There are many more restaurants and stores in a 10 minute car ride. The town hall two blocks away has a good playground for children, a basketball half court, and a shuffle board court and a picnic area.

There is a live outdoor Theater, Freeman Stage, for concerts, musicals and plays-and children acting classes

Enjoy the tennis courts at 141st Street in Ocean City. Keep in shape while on vacation – work out at the two gyms that are within a 10 minute car ride. Take a ½ day fishing outing for six with drinks and food. Arrange an eco-kayak tour in salt pond. See the following site for details – c-kayak.com/tour.asp.

Fun food like Kohr Brothers soft ice cream, Fishers popcorn, funnel cakes, fries, pizza, hoagies, etc, and a farmers market are also within a 10 minute walk. Also in that walking distance is a bike shop with bike rentals, many retail stores, and the well known, DiscoverSea Shipwreck museum with recovered shipwreck artifacts and coins. www.discoversea.com .

You can take a short walk to the pristine beach for swimming and surf fishing, wander for miles in the adjacent Delaware Seashore Park. There are numerous golf courses, bike paths, three boardwalks, and superb dining in 2 states. There are nightly magic shows in Ocean View, a live theater, Freeman Stage at Bayside with times for children’s theater school, and a boot camp 7 AM class on the beach two blocks away.

About a mile from Fenwick Island is the heart of Ocean City Maryland. The city has a long boardwalk with an amusement park with a roller coaster, bars, dance clubs, museums, shopping, and many other stores and activities.

The house is open for rental all year. We do rent partial weeks but not from May 30 to Aug 30.

  • Check in is 3 PM, and check out is 10 AM. Early check ins and check outs by request for a fee in September to May rentals ($75).
    We do not rent partial weeks from June 2 to September 1.
    We can accept credit cards but do charge a 3% fee.

    Bed linens, towels are not included and can be rented and dropped off and picked up at your door.
    Security Deposit is $1000 and is refundable. Cancellation fee is $250 if we can replace your rental.

  • Fenwick Island lies on the Delaware-Maryland state line on the southern end of Delaware and is the southernmost of the Quiet Resorts. Intersected by routes 1 and 54, Fenwick offers the best of both bay and ocean water sports. Along with Bethany Beach, Fenwick is called the Quiet Resorts; a relatively uncrowded, peaceful oasis. Fenwick Island's stretch of ocean provides uncrowded beaches for swimming, surf fishing, surfing and any other ocean activity you can imagine. The Assawoman Bay, meanwhile, offers jet skiing, sailing, windsurfing, boating and fishing, to name a few possibilities. 6/24/07 The facilities at the Indian House were excellant and helped make our family wedding a true pleasure Ralph Picard did everything possible to make us and our guests comfortable.Our only issue was keeping ice in the house for 18 people. We would definately return.

We stayed at one of this property owner's homes this summer - they have three gorgeous homes - and liked this one - the Indian home - just as much as the other -called the Red home,

We had the pool heated and with it and the 7 person hot tub this adults only group really enjoyed being using the huge pool area as well as the ocean, just to sit as the water wash chillllly.

The bedroom selections were great and the home in perfect condition.

No place like home

Perfect for our large extended family and everyone had a bed to rest for another exciting day. The 30 yard walk to the beach, the relaxing nap by the pool, the evening dip in the hot tub talking about childhood memories, the expansive to level with four separate discussions going on, the spaces for the kids to retreat to and be loud and happy, the incredible kitchen that allowed 5 of us to cook every night, and most of all, the interior spacial and Aesthetic design that supported one of the best times our family has had in a long time. Thanks to Resort Pointe.

STAYED HERE WEEK BEGINNING 9/24/11 - GREAT RENTAL PROPERTY !!!

Used this house as a family reunion with my sisters from 3 different states !!! The house is lovely, very roomy, comfortable beds and closets you could live in. Unfortunately, we had clouds for all but one day of our rental but we made the best of it. Definitely recommend Jimmy's for breakfast (less than 5 mt. walk from the house), Harpoon Hanna's and the Lobster Shanty on Rt. 54 West. Found the Shanty too late in our vacation, excellent food and drink !!! Don't miss Kohr's frozen custard, south on Rt. 1.....the only complaint we had is the pool pH level was off and we could not use for 3 days but it was fixed immediately and then no problem for rest of week. Definitely a great house for just about any occasion. Next year we would rent earlier as some of the restaurants were already closing for the season. One more thing, great pool and ocean toys in the closet next to outdoor shower but it really needs to be better organized !!

Wonderful Place!

We just stayed at the Indian House for four nights over our Spring Break - 10 adults and 5 kids. The house is perfect for this size (and could even handle a couple more kids). The kitchen was VERY well-stocked; this was a concern so we all brought cooking supplies, but they were not needed at all! It was the perfect place to cook gourmet meals, which we did every night. Great location - a minute walk from the beach where you can walk for miles... Everything was in working order and clean! We were even surprised to find the pool was open in April, so this was a huge bonus, too! The layout is great for hanging out; we were so happy to do nothing. The few neighbors that were around were friendly. Mary (agent) was terrific and answered all my questions. The whole process was smooth and we would definitely return to another of their homes -- if not this one! Rave reviews from all adults who stayed here. Highly recommend!
