A very romantic place!

Windy Knoll was a special autumn treat for us! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on a very beautiful beach. Swimming was great. The water was surprisingly warm for the time of year and we loved our daily beach walks. The house itself is absolutely marvelous and loaded with lots of charm and personality. It’s very comfortable, and extremely clean. We enjoyed everything about the place, including the very well appointed kitchen. When preparing meals, we would open all the windows and enjoy the sounds of the beach while looking out over the incredibly gorgeous seascape. When the sun is shining, the whole place shimmers with a very luminous light reflected off the bay. It’s something we still talk about. The huge windows were a great choice because the views are extraordinary. We also had some very relaxing evenings sitting by the fire playing board games and watching incredibly colorful sunsets. Great accommodations, lovely hosts, and an ideal setting! Overall, it was a very peaceful, romantic holiday.
