Dorado is about 45 minutes from the Luis Munoz Marin International Airport. Taxis and rental car are available at the airport and the town. Dorado also has plenty of restaurants (international and Puerto Rican cuisine, wine bar) and two big hotels: The Dorado Hyatt and the Embassy Suites Hotel. The first one has a golf course and the last one has a casino. There are three shopping centers, two big supermarkets, a big pharmacy and a hospital.

We had a wonderful experience staying in this villa. The accommodations are very spacious and clean. Each room was nice and big. The villa had all the supplies you need to cook and clean. There were even extra condiments that we were able to use. They supplied towels for the pool and bathing. There is a grill on the patio just outside of the sliding door. The grill came in handy when we had family members visit us at the villa.

The area is extremely safe with 24 hour security in and around the villa. This is a safe place for you to have your children run around. We think this is a great place for both families with children and without. Those with children should just put some of the beautiful decorative vases to the side to avoid any accidents. That is what we did.

It is centrally located in the north so it is close to San Juan. We were able to do lots of tourism trips to San Juan and other parts of the island. Unfortunately we did not go to the 3 beaches next to the villa because the children enjoyed themselves so much at the pools. We have already recommended this villa to our friends and family. We intend to use this villa again next time we return to Puerto Rico.

We stayed from June 11 to June 19, 2009. A secure area, ( guarded entry, patroled). Utensils, dishes, cook ware, furniture, Microwave, coffee maker,are provided. Washer, dryer in kitchen area for convenience. Air conditioned, and ceiling fans. Three bedrooms with 2 1/2 baths in three level condo setting. (Top bedroom is a loft-like arrangement, but spacious. All bedrooms have a balcony to outside. Ample closet space. Patio has grill & dining area. Pool is huge, with secured gate, fence, showers also & dressing rooms. Beach and play area nearby. Clean & driving distance to most sites on the island. Shopping close, as Walgreens, fast food, restaurants, grocery, etc. Owners were very accomodating to our every need. (They even put in HBO for a boxing match we wanted to see!) Tv in third level bedroom & living room with cable plus local stations. Daily outdoor mantainance & private parking provided.

Family Gathering

We decided to rent a villa to accommodate our growing family for our visit. This was the perfect site. The facilities were well kept and suited our needs perfectly. The community is very secure and very tranquil. The pool was less than 100 yards from the back patio and the beach was a comfortable walk away. The villa was also equipped with everything to make for a great stay. We truly appreciated the assistance and consideration of the owners, Angel and his wife. We definitely recommend this villa to anyone. And we will be back again.

Perfect Weekend Vacation

I usually dont write a review on any of may stays but this time I was compel to do it since my expirience in this lovely villa was so wonderful.

From the wonderful and extremely service orientened owners, to the fully equipped and beautiful decorated villa to the tranquil and family oriented enviroment on Villas de Playa II in Dorado del Mar...This was truly a Perfect Vacation weekend. Thanks Angel and Noret you will see us again soon...!!!

We always think about the effort they make to come down to Puerto Rico, so that is the reason why we treat them as family.
