Quiet, peaceful and easy walk to the lake.

We spent four days over 4th of July weekend of 2011 here and really enjoyed the house and the area. The house has two good sized bedrooms, a living room and kitchen with the best part being the deck in the back. We have two kids, so it was nice to have the outside area. Everything was clean and well maintained and the kitchen had all the basics. If you like to cook, like we do, I would suggest bring a mixing bowl and a good knife. But if you are more the burgers and dogs type of person or go out to eat, you will have everything you need. The house is about a 5 minute walk to the lake, which made it easy to go back and forth throughout the day to make the kids lunch or go walk the dog. There were ceiling fans in all the rooms, which were great since it did get hot while we were there.
We lucked out with the weather and were able to eat outside. There is not an actual kitchen or dining room table, so if it was rainy, it would not be as nice to be eating inside on the couch and chairs. But we didn't have to worry about that. The owners were friendly and responsive, especially since I asked about renting their place, 4 days before arriving. I would definitely recommend this place!
