Otis Vacation Rental house

The house in Otis was just as promised. Upon arrival, the owners greeted us and showed us around. The house was fully stocked with hand soap, laundry soap, toiletpaper, paper towels and all the kitchen baggies, alluminum foil etc. you could wish for. The modern washing machine and dryer are on the second floor, so very easy to get to and use. There was nothing we wished we had brought, but plenty of things we could have left at home! They had DVD's, games, outdoor toys for the kids. We especially loved the hottub. That was a real treat for us. The house sits on a quiet street, about 5 miles from town. We shopped for our groceries before we arrived and we were easily able to store a weeks' worth of food in the huge pantry and fridge. Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable. We would certainly recommend the house to friends and would consire staying again next year. Our family of (combined) 9 people found plenty of space in the house. The four kids loved the yard and grandpa enjoyed the 60 inch screen TV.
We enjoyed the Birkshires and everything ity has to offer.

We came from Hawaii, Florida, Texas and Illinois for a family vacation. I found this house on the HomeAway website and we decided we would rent it. I had great correspondence from the home owners and by the time we got to the rental house we felt like this was home. When we arrived the house was clean and the homeowners were there to welcome us. We had a wonderful stay and everything worked in the house, nothing went wrong. We had 7 adults and 2 children staying here and we all had our own room for privacy, the kids slept in the basement and loved it, there is a bedroom downstairs too. We all agreed we would rent this house again, we loved it. They have a pool, which my grandson was in all the time, a hot tub that the adults enjoyed and a huge kitchen, dining area that had everything we needed to cook at home. Also a gas grill that my son took charge of. My husband and I celebrated our 25th anniv and because we have a lot of family in Mass. we had a get together to celebrate; our extended family and friends loved the house, too.
We went to NY for a baseball game, it took less than 3 hrs driving in the rain, and Six Flags is about 45-1hr drive; Otis Reservoir is just down the road for swimming, boating, etc. ..there are a lot of things to do and then you just drive back to the quiet of the mountains, perfect.
They also have a fire pit in the backyard and we enjoyed sitting out at night and just spending time together around the fire. It was the best family vacation, I would Highly Recommend this house for your next vacation, it is a comfortable, clean place to stay.

We stayed in Kathy and Frank's home for Memorial Day Weekend this year and what a beautiful weekend it was! The home was just perfect with all amenities included. The hot tub was exactly what we needed and the privacy can't be beat. Our two dogs really enjoyed the nice sized yard to run around in and nearby trails were convenient.

The yard was very well-maintained as was the home. Everything was very clean and by the end of the third day, we felt like it was our own home and certainly didn't want to leave.

I would stay here again and have already asked some friends if they would be interested in going back with us!
