The location is perfectly positioned between the popular 5th Avenue Pedestrian walking street and the acclaimed Mamitas and Tukan Beaches. The unit is part of the community Hacienda San Jose, complete with intricate privacy iron entrance handlain tile ceiling, large community swimming pool and tropical common gardens. A true reminder of the Haciendas of the past.

Fabulous Ocean View Condo

We were thrilled to stay at this amazing place. It is decorated beautifully and has the best ocean views we've ever seen. The bathrooms are very nice, and seem to have been completely redone (Not sure what another reviewer was talking about; the second bathroom was really nice with a new spa-style glass and slate shower with a lovely towel cabinet). The roof was the best part of the whole condo. It was colorful, comfortable, and had stellar views. The bedrooms were both large and comfortable, with comfy beds. We also enjoyed the kitchen, which had everything we needed to make quick meals. Great location: a short walk to the beach in one way and 5th Avenue in the other. We highly recommend it.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Loved our Casa Morris experience...

We had the good fortune to stumble across this gem on the Internet. Booked two weeks (end of January/08 - beginning of Feb./08). The condo was exactly as the photos represented - our favourite was the rooftop terrace where we spent many mornings and evenings. There is an empty lot (or there was!) between you and the Caribbean. What can be better than that! The "touches" in the unit were appreciated. The maid service was incredible. Our dealings with the Bric were professional and satisfying. The whole experience was delightful, and would not hesitate to recommend this escape.

The condo is pleasantly decorated. The two bedrooms are nice and one has an ensuite bathroom. The kitchen and livingroom are also nice and of course there is a view of the ocean! The negatives are the second bathroom - the shower is not very functional given that it has a large washer and dryer right in front of it. There is also a really bad smell coming from somewhere in this bathroom - we had to keep the door shut all the time. While the view is nice, we never really used the roof toof terrace because of the construction going on at the next block (it looked like it may be coming to an end soon though). Also, we found the stair up to the terrace a bit precarious. The common pool is ok but not very inviting and we didn't use it. There is not anywhere to sit around it and no chairs (it is more a pool for the poepl staying on the condos on the ground floor really). We are quite easy going so none of these things really bothered us after the first day of adjusting to them. We found the management company (Bric) which rents out the condo did not follow through on some paper work properly and we had to wait over an hour at Cancun airport to be picked up by their driver (on the way back they were very efficient then). They are friendly enough though and try to help. We did love the location of the condo next to the beach and at the more laid back end of 5th Avenue. Try the little Mezcal bar around the corner on 5th. We loved that!
