Hi Kate,
Just wanted to let you know that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your fabulous house at Bald Head!!!! The entire time there was just so wonderful. The house is so great, and perfect for us, our 2 boys and my in-laws. Our 5 year old loved the bunk room, and our 2 year old stayed with us in the spacious master, in a pack-n-play. Next time I'll know we don't need to bring ours! The house is so stocked with stuff - awesome. And I love the layout, decor and furnishings - everything is so comfortable, and clean. Our little Ben, the one w/ asthma & allergies, had no problems other than a little eczema flare, probably from chlorine, which we are used to.
We will probably never rent another house at Bald Head, now that we've found Rhapsody! The master bed is so comfy - you weren't kidding! One thing I was amazed at was all the incredible views, from practically every window of the house - so cool that you can see the ocean from so many places! And the proximity to the golf course was wonderful for us. My husband and I played while we were there, and then at dusk we took the boys, who both have their own sets of clubs, out to 16 green to chip and putt. It was so fun. We loved all the porches too. We didn't get there until after dark Wednesday night, so once we got settled and the boys to bed we thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the back deck under the amazing star-filled sky. You don't see stars like you do at Bald Head in too many places!
We had an incredible storm Friday night - the tail end of Tropical Storm Danny. It was scary for the boys, as it was like a sound and light show on steroids, but very cool for us adults to witness... The weather was absolutely beautiful after that and we spent all day Saturday at the Shoal's Club and out on Frying Pan Shoals. I can't imagine there are many places more beautiful on this earth... A little slice of heaven, for sure.
I didn't get a chance to write in your guest book, but I wanted you to know how much we enjoyed our stay in your wonderful house! You have been fabulous to work with, and know that next time we plan on heading down, you will be hearing from me :-) Thank you for everything! Hope you and your family are able to get down to Rhapsody soon!
