Valinor is a custom built home located across the street from the beach on a cul-de-sac. This luxurious retreat offers the rare combination of both the quiet seclusion of a tropical forest and the close proximity of the sand and surf. With 3200 sq.ft. of living area you will have ample room to enjoy everything Valinor has to offer. Amenities: elevator, towels and 200+ thread count 100% cotton sheets provided, high-speed internet access, 42 inch plasma TV and 3 additional TVs all with 120-channel Dish Network, DVD players, CD player, sound system throughout house, alarm system, screened porch, open air porch with gas grill, gourmet kitchen with granite countertops and stainless appliances, gas fireplace, Brazilian cherry hardwood floors, phone, air conditioning, washer, dryer, jacuzzi tub in master bath, portable crib, covered parking, enclosed area underneath house, bicycles, beach chairs and beach towels. We do not allow pets or smoking on our property.

Guest Book:: My husband and I have rented a lot of houses over the past 16 years through rental companies. This is the first time we went directly through the owner and it was the best house we have ever rented. It was exactly as describe in the ad. This house is warm and welcoming and above all comfortable. Everything was perfect and all of the extras provided to us for our use were greatly appreciated. The location is great also---being at the end of a drive we did not have to deal with traffic noise. We felt like we had our privacy and still had easy access to the beach. A Fabulous Place to Stay

When we arrived at the house we were thrilled. It looked even better than the pictures! The house is very large and was perfect for our families. The kitchen was well-stocked and the beds were fantastic. The beach access was great - just as owner described. We loved downtown Folly too! We would walk from the house. Thank you for a perfect vacation! We hope to return next year!

The description was completely accurate. The house was clean and well maintained. The only problem we encountered was the dishwasher did not drain properly and it actually flooded the kitchen floor the first time it was used. We did dishes by hand after that.
Replacement garbage can liners were not furnished and not enough paper towels or toilet paper was furnished.
The clothes dryer took way too long to dry clothes and should probably be checked.
Now the good stuff!. The kitchen was very well furnished. We loved the unique art and antiques. The house was beautiful and felt very warm and user friendly. The elevator was wonderful. We had a guest who used a scooter with oxygen . The elevator was a life saver. The loft was ideal. Our grandchildren used it as a club house. The many games and toys- especially the beach chairs and bicycles were used often. The outside shower was the best thing according to my son-in law.
The location was ideal. We had the beach almost to ourselves for the first four days. The proximity to Charleston was perfect.
We took the children to the acquarium. We loved the Crab Shack. The seafood was terrific.
I brought extra towels but did not need to use them. Oh, we also used one of the cribs that you furnished for our two year old granddaughter.
You might want to consider furnishing a gate for the stairs from the main level up to the 3rd floor and loft. Our two year old loves to climb and we were constantly looking around, seeing her absent and finding her all the way in the loft.
Yes, we certainly would recommend this property for other family vacations. This house was perfect for our family reunion.

Great Retreat

We spent our 10th annual sisters week here and had our best vacation yet. The house is in the perfect, secluded location yet it's right across the street from the beach. The house is warm and spacious and has every ammenity we needed. GREAT kitchen and all of the bedrooms were beautiful. Charleston is just 15 minutes away but the town of Folly was a blast too.

This house is amazing! The elevator was key as we were vacationing with little kids and elderly grandparents. The house is a stones throw to the beautiful and quiet beach. Tons of room for all of us (we had 10 people in our group) and our stuff. Having rented beach houses in the past, I was particularly impressed by the beauty of the house -- excellent rental!
