One of the best OBX houses we've stayed in!

This is a great OBX house! Our family recently spent a week here and found it to be a wonderful, kid-friendly home. We tend to vacation in OBX about every two years, and thought that this was one of the best we've stayed in. Ann and Larry (owners) were very helpful and responded to emails/phone calls quickly and courteously. The home was close to the ocean (about 2 minute walk). The area of the beach near the house was not crowded at all, very pleasant. The house is located right at 3 MP, so it was a very good central location for us (15 mins north to Duck, or 15 mins south to the Dunes). What makes this house stand out beyond the standard rental properties that we typically use were all of the "little things" that come with an owner-occupied house as opposed to one strictly rented out by the big companies. For example, the kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, pots/pans, appliances, and there were beach umbrellas, beach toys, beach cart, etc. The only negative we encountered was the gas grill outside - bad burners and rusty grates - that made grilling local seafood really difficult. Overall, the house was very clean and well kept, and the pool was great in the afternoon. For the value, you can't go wrong. On our next visit to OBX we will definitely consider booking here again!
