One of our best vacations ever...peaceful, comfortable and relaxing! The cabin was clean, well-cared for, stocked well, close to everything. Two thumbs up.
Our group of 6 mature adult x-c skiers could not have been more pleased with our stay in this delightful cabin. Everything was as described on VRBO and the owner provided a helpful info sheet as well as printed rules. The kitchen was well-equipped, there were lots of towels in the bathrooms and extra blankets and pillows. The cabin was very clean and furniture/beds were comfortable and in very good condition. The location, only 4 miles north of "downtown" Grayling and in the midst of 4 x-c ski areas was perfect, both for skiing and dining. A large supermarket in Grayling had the supplies we needed to cook breakfast in the cabin and for trail lunches. The owner was especially helpful in email and phone contacts when I had questions before making the rental. I definitely would recommend this property; we are talking about returning either for skiing or other activities, since the AuSable is so close.
Our stay at the cabin was wonderful. If you're looking for a peaceful, quiet setting to relax or a vacation place to fish, kayak, etc., this is it!~The cabin was very cozy and comfortable with all the amenities you can think of. Lots of wildlife around, very beautiful setting. We would definitely recommend this rental to friends, relatives. Maureen provided great service. Thank you, Maureen, for providing the perfect vacation place!!!!! Tammy
This home is beautiful and located in a secluded, wooded setting with lots of privacy, You'll enjoy biking, hiking and kayaking nearby and peaceful evenings by the campfire. We had a wonderful time and a very positive experience. Our many thanks to Maureen Moon for sharing her lovely home with us.
The pictures do not do the property justice- it is absolutely beautiful! We arrived to find an immaculate cabin with all the amenities and extras we could have possibly needed. The ski trails in the area are not far away and are a ton of fun! We will be coming back again next year for sure! Thanks Maureen for an incredible weekend and a wonderful cabin!
This was a surprisingly VERY nice log cabin with all the amenities of home on a wonderful property along the river. We loved kayaking up the river in the morning mist, snuggling on the hammock and watching the sunrise through some of the virgin pine trees on the property. Beautifully decorated in up north motif! Will return for sure!
Just absolutely perfect. You can tell the owner takes very good care of this place. Perfect place to just get away from all the noise and traffic. We will definitely be staying here again.
