This cozy cottage is one of only 20 free standing units at the Wellfleeter and has a spectacular waterfront view of Cape Cod Bay out of a huge picture window in the living room. One bedroom also has a nice water view. Vintage beach town feel, with hiking trails, restaurants and art galleries within walking distance. The playground, skateboard park and WHAT theatre are also a short walk away! The kitchen and bathroom have recently been remodeled. Private steps lead you down to a bay beach next to Mayo Beach for swimming, boating, fishing, shell fishing, or just plain relaxing!

    If you choose to clean yourselves, the cottage must be left AS CLEAN AS it was found as no additional cleaning will be done prior to the next guest checking in, and if it is not, you will be charged!

Wonderful Wellfleet!

We loved staying in Wellfleet where there was so much to see and do. This cottage provided the perfect spot for a "home base" as we explored the area. It was clean, functional, organized and quiet. It had everything we needed. We enjoyed walking on the waterfront in front of the cottage at low tide and collecting treasures. We attended a wonderful children's production by W.H.A.T. and also enjoyed the flea market and the BookStore for dinner. This cottage is close to downtown Wellfleet and many wonderful beaches and kettle ponds. Our children loved Long Pond for swimming. Whale watching was a hit in nearby Provincetown. We would highly recommend staying here!

Everything the description promised

We arrived tired and hungry and were happy to find the unit just as Kathleen had promised. The beds are comfy, the water is a stone's throw away and the sound of the waves lapping is relaxing. We used the small gas grill, the beach chairs, the wireless, the DVD and all in all had a nice vacation. We would like to come back.

First time is a charm

Being our first rental experience ever, I really did not know what to expect. Wow, was I surprised. Cottage #10 is lovingly appointed, clean and in a great, great spot. I highly recommend it.

Perfect for us....

This cottage was perfect for us. My sister and I each brought our toddlers and it worked out great. Being so close to the beach with the kids and able to walk to the playground and Macs for ice cream, made the location a hit for us. What a bonus that cottage #10 was so nicely decorated and clean too.

We were so pleased with how close we were to the bay and downtown Wellfleet. Looking out the living room window was beautiful and we could easily walk to downtown Wellfleet. Can't beat the location and the cottage was adorable too!!
