Come Stay With Us!!!
Aloha and Mahalo!
This house met our needs perfectly. There was everything we needed for our 1 year old (Pack n' play, high chair, baby gate, beach toys, even a toddler chair on the back of the bike). There was also lots of fun things for adults (snorkel gear, water shoes, bikes). We loved being able to watch the sunrise and sunset from the balcony. We could walk across the street to the beach and there was a shopping center for groceries a few block away. The polynesian cultural center and Laie Temple were minutes away. Bill was very accommodating to our needs and we would definitely stay here again!
This was our first trip to the island and it was breathtaking! From the amazing house to all the fun filled activities surrounding us, it couldn't have been better.. Thank you so much for having bikes, snorkel gear, and water shoes that were so helpful! The country scenery really made it feel like a vacation, away for the city and night life and traffic. Also, watching the sun rise over the clouds every morning was the best way to start every day! Mahalo and can't wait to come back:)

Sorry for the late review but, we were there in mid-June.
this was our first time renting from VRBO and was somewhat nervous because we didn't know what to expect as the internet sometimes tend to makes thing better than it is.
but, I was truely surprise how BEAUTIFUL his home was/is. it's everything he describe and more. The ocean breeze, the view, the spaciousness of the house was just sooo relaxing. I look forward to coming back and stay here again!
I can go on and on about the house, the location, the amenities but, I wouldn't do it any justice. you would have to experience it yourself.
thank you Bill for sharing your beautiful home with us mainlanders!
Just want to let you know how much we love the place and of course we returned. And return in 2013.
Beautiful home, outstanding view, very clean, very private. We loved the ocean breeze everyday. We love it so much and we are coming back in July /August 2013. My family and I love you and your family. You guys make us feel like at home and you guys are so nice and sweet.
Thank you, thank you,and thank you for everything. See you guys in July/Aug 2013.
Our family had a great time staying at this house. The house has everything you need for a lovely vacation. The location was excellent. We were very close to the Polynesian Cultural Center and so many fantastic beaches. We had three families using the house and the group included 6 adults and 3 children under the age of 9. All of us had a great time. I would definitely recommend renting from Bill. He was very responsive to any issue.
Look no further! After spending weeks looking for a home for our family reunion and my son's graduation from HPU, we finally found this one. To begin with, Bill was so kind and easy to deal with. He not only provided a pack and play for my granddaughter, but called to make sure we had everything we needed to make our stay a pleasant one. If possible, make sure you go to his store, Island X Hawaii, at the old sugar mill in Wailua. It's a real treat!
This home had everything we needed and more. It's very private, like your very own private compound. On the other hand, we introduced ourselves to the neighbors, who were so warm and friendly. They even invited us to join them in their daughter's high school celebration.
The home is fabulous! It overlooks the ocean and is a great place for surfing, swimming, and surfcast fishing. There are also rock "fish ponds" built ages ago to herd fish into. You'll see them at low tide. You will also see people gathering a certain type of seaweed, which is used for salads and medicine. It's delicious! The people who were gathering it were eager to share the info with me, and even invited me to their home to show me how to prepare it. Unfortunately, we were leaving that day. Late in the afternoon, you can watch pairs of sea turtles playing in the waves about 20 feet offshore, from the upstairs lanai!
For people who like to hike, there is an incredible trailhead up at the end of the street. If you're really adventurous, it connects with another trail for a challenging hike. It is incredibly beautiful!
There are small markets and regular grocery stores close by. You have to try the fish and shrimp tacos just before you get to Tamura's Market! They are the best I've ever had! Also, on Saturday, Ken's Fish Market sells super fresh fish and delicious poke, just steps from the home.
I could go on and on, but I think I hit some of the high points. There were no low points. I have been to Oahu many times and I would not stay anywhere else from now on. I just can't say enough about the great vibe that this home and community have. My family is the most important thing to me. Mahalo to our new found ohana in Hau'ula.
