Ha-Sea-Enda Spring Specials semi oceanfront h/tub, f/place

If you love the beach - not the "honky-tonk" of mini-golf, fast food restaurants,shell shops, candy stores that locate in most seaside resort areas - but the BEACH - sand, waves, sunshine, nature and restful quiet - Ha-Sea-Enda is for you!

Our clan is made up of "chosen family" and a few grown children - when jobs permit. 2008 is our 4th Spring Break at the Outer Banks and the first where we've brought our dog. The bedroom suites give everyone their own space and privacy as needed. The wide porch and tile entry make is easy to keep sand from coming into the house on shoes and paws!

In March the neighborhood is almost deserted. The beach is wonderful to walk on - full of shells to gather and sea birds to watch. One can view the ocean from the main living area, all decks and porches, and from four of the bedrooms. The well appointed kitchen is perfect for those, like our clan, who love to cook and skip the restaurant scene. The hot tub offers warm relaxation under the stars. All bedrooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable.

Since we visit in the "off" season it is an easy trip down the highway for some shopping and a visit to Manteo. In the evening the sun sets to the back of the house. On several evenings we saw deer in the back yard.

We had a fabulous time and appreciated the fast response from the property maintenance folks who came to take care of burnt out lights. The owners were delightful and easy to work with when making plans for our holiday. When we couldn't figure out the dvd player, they quickly responded to our email and then called the house to walk us through the instructions.

We plan to use homeaway website for other vacations in the future and definitely plan to reutrn to Ha-Sea-Enda next Spring!
