This log home was beyond all of our expectations. It was definitely a home away from home. Beautiful wood interior from floor to ceilings, decorated with such a warm and cozy feel. Well supplied for all our family needs. Awesome deck, lots of fun grilling and dining outside (hardly any bugs either). Accomodated our family of 8 perfectly. Quiet street, great pond (within walking distance) perfect for kayaking. Many surrounding local acitivies, minutes away from North Conway shopping area. Enjoyed hiking thru Diana's Bath's and Cathedral Ledge. We generally do not head up North until Fall or Winter but we were pleasantly surprised this Summer and will definitely be back any time of year. Great communication between ourselves and the owners. We look forward to a return trip to try out ski season. An exceptional retreat/vacation spot and highly recommended.

My family and I rented during the heat wave of 2010 [July] but still enjoyed the cottage very much. It was all that I hoped for and needed to have a good time. The owners have set the cottage up in a very thoughtful manner with a number of comfortable extras. The cottage was clean & neat which is a step
above many cabins that I have previously rented. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a quiet
vacation in an area which has much to offer.
Recommended for:  Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway

Great Cabin!

This cabin was perfect for us... we were two families (four adults and three kids) staying in the area for the purpose of visiting Story Land with the kids. The cabin was the perfect size for us, and we absolutely loved the uniqueness of it. Very nicely kept with all necessary amenities. We stayed here for two nights (but wished we were there longer). We especially loved that there was a grill there, as we grilled dinner both nights.

Our kids really loved "the man" in the basement... which was a mannequin in a gondola haha!

The cabin was only about a 15 minute drive to Story Land, which was great, and not too far from other conveniences such as drug stores and supermarkets.

We are already planning on returning to this cabin for our trip to Story Land next year. We hope to use this cabin again and again! Can't recommend it enough!
Recommended for:  Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
