Furnished in country cottage style, the house has 1 dble and 2 twin bedrooms, sharing 2 fully tiled, modern bathrooms. The well equipped, spacious farmhouse kitchen has a generous fridge freezer and full cooker. Off the kitchen is a separate dining room, with an archway leading through to the living room and thence to the porticoed main entrance to the rear, garlanded by flowering Bignonia. Rustic farm buildings form a partial courtyard leading to the good sized swimming pool, bordered by gardens, with a gnarled old Carob tree providing a shady corner. From the sunny courtyard and poolside relax and soak up the amazing tranquil atmosphere of the place, as well as enjoying panoramic views of the surrounding countryside To the rear of the pool, the Mallorquin style summer house accommodates a superbly fashioned barbecue, along with a convenient marble sink and rustic table and benches for alfresco dining. Next to the summer house is a 3rd fully tiled bathroom and a washing machine

Under an hours drive from Palma, in the south-east of Mallorca and on the edge of a sleepy hamlet, hidden away in the countryside, this authentic Mallorquin farmhouse with its pretty gardens and private swimming pool provides perfect accommodation for families looking for peace and privacy. 15 mins drive away, the seaside town of Cala D'Or is blessed with seven idyllic sandy coves protected by rocky pine clad headlands and washed by a turquoise sea. Over the years Cala D'Or has grown into a sophisticated resort with excellent shops and restaurants. A few kms inland, the peace and tranquillity of rural Mallorca remains unaffected by the excesses of tourism and 5 mins drive away, the historic town of Felanitx dates back to medieval times. The town’s market is a colourful affair and it’s the perfect opportunity to stock up on fresh vegs or to check out the locally produced ceramic pottery or basketwork. Like chalk and cheese, Cala D'Or & Felanitx, couldn't be more different

Off the kitchen is a separate dining room, with an archway leading through to the living room and thence to the porticoed main entrance to the rear, garlanded by flowering Bignonia, with a nearby banana tree adding an exotic tropical touch. Rustic farm buildings form a partial courtyard leading to the good sized swimming pool, bordered by delightful gardens, with a strategic gnarled old Carob tree providing a shady corner. From the sunny courtyard and poolside, one can relax and soak up the amazing tranquil atmosphere of the place, as well as enjoying the splendid panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, where olive groves give way to wooded hillsides reaching to the distant horizon.
