This seasonal, fully equipped, 3 bedroom, 2 bath oceanfront cottage is situated between the villages of Bass Harbor and Bernard on the quiet side of the island. Launch your kayak or canoe from the dock and paddle over to Thurstons for a lobster lunch or out to the ocean. For the adventurous and physically active, you can enjoy biking, hiking, running, kayaking, or technical rock climbing in Acadia National Park. For the less active, there are classes at the Abbe Museum in Bar Harbor, lectures at the Museum of the Atlantic and Jackson Labs, art galleries and shopping. It’s a five minute walk to the Island Explorer bus stop where you can catch a free shuttle to Southwest Harbor, Bar Harbor or other points of interest.

This house is located on an ocean inlet between Bass Harbor and Bernard. A quiet road with only three houses. Near Acadia National Park, the area is perfect for hiking, biking, technical rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, tide pooling. The library in Southwest Harbor has wireless internet connection. You can also get a temporary library card there. In the evening you can enjoy the Acadia Repetory Theatre in Somesville, The Arcady Music Festival, and other cultural events in Bar Harbor and Ellsworth.
