3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sleeps 8-10

Solar powered, beautifully restored 100 year old log cabin with 3 bedroom addition. Well equipped kitchen, books & games, DVDS etc. All linens, towels, trash bags etc. are provided.

The 550 acre property includes 90% of the shoreline (4 miles of frontage) on Rockabema Lake. Wildlife abounds. Moose, Deer, Beaver, & Loons are easily sighted. Fish species include, Landlocked Salmon, Brook Trout, and Rainbow Trout. Waters flowing over the dam and into the east branch of the Mattawamkeag makes for excellent fly-fishing.

95 miles from the 'city lights' of Bangor Maine ensures unsurpassed night sky viewing.

The property provides maximum privacy as it is located 3 miles from Rte 11.

Canoes, kayaks, a sailboat and all necessary gear for enjoyment is provided. A motorized fishing boat is available for rent .

Rockabema Lake is a beautiful and unique property offering privacy and serenity with all the amenities.

The towns of Houlton, Presque Isle and Caribou are within driving distance and host summer festivals of all kinds.

I loved it here!! There was always an adventure!! Mother Nature was at her prime. I only wish we had seen a moose, but we did see loons, red fox, and a bald eagle.

A Magical Cabin in the Woods :)

The listing description for this property is accurate. Photos can't fully capture the beauty, peacefulness and interesting character of the cabin and the lake. Nature at it's best! We enjoyed watching loons daily on the lake, enjoying their beautiful calls. Other highlights were kayaking on the lake and observing bald eagles, otters and beaver. The property is very well maintained, clean and well equipped. The owner was easy to work with and provided good customer service. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family. PERFECT PLACE TO GET AWAY FROM IT ALL!!

I do not normally give rating of excellent but this is one place that needs no changing or improvements. It is perfect just the way it is! This is the most wonderful vacation spot I could have asked for. If you are looking for seclusion, peace and quiet this is the place. Nicely appointed, clean, fresh and just amazing!!!!!! I WILL be going back. Thanks!

This, my friends, is one of the BEST places We have ever been to. Of course, you must like privacy, fishing, boating, privacy, resting, hiking, privacy, silence, loons, fireplaces, oh, did I say PRIVACY??!! This is a GREAT vacation spot to just get away from it all....and I do mean, ALL!!! We loved every second we where there and will go back again!
Donna and Ron have a wonderful place,and we're all lucky that they share it with us!
