Double doors open from the terrace :
into the farmhouse style kitchen, with traditional beamed ceiling and a huge wood burning stove in one corner. Wooden units with a marble work surface extend along one wall, incorporating a range style gas cooker, microwave oven and large fridge freezer. There’s a dining area to the rear of the kitchen, beyond which a door leads to a small covered yard housing a washing machine and a traditional Mallorquin bread oven. A second set of double doors lead directly from the terrace into the living room where a sofa and chairs, are grouped around an ornate wood burning stove, whilst a gleaming linen chest and treadle sewing machine give a touch of old world elegance.
To the right, a door opens directly to the ground floor twin bedroom, the windows revealing views of the swimming pool across the terrace. The en-suite shower room with toilet and washbasin can also be accessed from the kitchen.
On the other side of the sitting room,:
a short corridor leads to a further, slightly smaller bedroom, with double bed and en suite bathroom.
Standing alone at first floor level, the second twin bedroom, with en-suite shower room offers a touch more privacy and has patio doors to its own small balcony, from where incidentally we spotted an exotically plumaged Hoopoe, in the little orchard of fig trees adjoining the pool.
