Our treasured late Georgian home is designed for an ordinary family (or two) who like to stay in an extraordinary setting in a quirky old house. Perfectly located for the Lake District.
Imagine yourself eating breakfast on the terrace while the children and dogs play happily on the lawn. Or chasing rare butterflies through secret, wild and sculpted gardens. Or putting on your boots and stomping off for a Sunday morning walk up Whitbarrow Scar. Then relaxing with family songs around the piano, with a book in front of a real fire, or with some family games in the drawing room of this characterful house. And then finally coming together for dinner like so many generations have before. Our rural family home is a well loved and comfortable escape. It is close to The Lakes, with stunning views over Arnside and Morecambe Bay and enjoying the amenities of nearby Witherslack village. Accommodation is in 3 vast bedrooms and one large single. There is ample on site parking.

This is a traditional Georgian home with all original features including the original period bathrooms. There are no showers currently. All the rooms have their original furniture, fittings and fixtures which give it a comfortable and relaxing feel adding to the charm of this special place.
If you enjoy low fell walking you are spoilt for choice, you will be able to walk out of the front door straight onto a woodland path. The paths lead to higher ground with spectacular views over Morecambe bay and up to the high fells of central Lakeland which are only a short car or bus ride away.
