Welcome to the Bay house, nestled in the woods on the shores of Daggett Lake one of 14 lakes on the Whitefish Chain. Beautiful views of the lake (100 feet of lake shore), wildlife, and nature are surrounding this 1700 Sq. Ft. cottage style year round cabin. Just 20 minutes north of Brainerd Mn. is Crosslake. This quaint cabin is 3 miles out of Crosslake located across the road from a Wildlife Preserve, acres of woods and wildlife abound. There is great shopping, coffee houses, artist studios and much more in nearby Crosslake, Pequot Lakes and Nisswa. There are several excellent golf courses; closest one is only 2 1/2 miles from 'The Bay House'.

Notes: There are 2 stone fireplaces, one on the main floor and a two-sided stone fireplace in the lower level family room. The fireplace wall separates the living room from the bunk bed area, very unique for a semi-private non-conforming 4th bedroom. There are 6 sets of sliding glass doors (3 on the main and 3 on the lower level) that go out to the deck/patio to enjoy the beautiful veiw of the lake and landscape. There are curving wood stairs with perennial gardens, a gradual easy slope to the level yard leading to the generous dock/platform for entertaining or just sitting on the dock bench to see the early morning sunrise. A spectacular event. The deck is the entire width of the cottage and has an array of seating from a 2 person glider to a 6 seated extra large round patio table to small vinette seating with cocktail tables as well as a chase lounge and ottoman. Two other plastic tables with 8 chairs for extra seating for guests when grilling or entertaining.

Our family has gone here for the past 3 years and we look forward to it everyyear. The cabin is great and has everything. It has LOTS of room and the location is wonderful. You're close to town and right on this great chain of lakes. It's near the end of the chain so it's not a busy and crowded. Very ideal for families and smaller groups that want to have fun and relax! Lots pf animal watching too!
