Enjoy this beautifully renovated cottage with full air conditioning and heating, comfortably furnished and fitted with all mod cons to ensure that your holiday starts from the moment you arrive. Situated in a quiet location, being Anna Maria, a nature reserve on Anna Maria Island on the Gulf Coast of Florida, neighbouring the exclusive Island of Longboat Key. They have a Tropical Landscaped Garden, surrounding a Free Form Pool with Waterfall, only 300 feet down a leafy lane to a wonderful white sandy beach that stretches for 7 miles being from one end of the Island to the other, where you can watch dolphins swim, Ibis run and pelicans dive. You will find the people helpful and friendly, wonderful restaurants, great shops, good supermarket, tennis courts, skate board park. Rent everything from boats, kayaks, windsurfers, surf boards, fishing rods, bikes, scooters to playpens. It is 1 hour to Tampa, 2½ to Orlando, 30 minutes to Sarasota so within easy reach of numerous attractions.

    We accept cheque or bank transfer. Credit cards/Debit cards also accepted - payment in £ Sterling currency.

    All bedding and towels are provided. The property is cleaned before and after your visit by our manager, but we do ask that you leave it in a good manor when you depart.

    All rates are subject change and to to all applicable taxes, currently 11.5%.

    A security/damage deposit of $525 will be required to secure a booking.

    A surcharge will be applied for bookings of less than 7 nights and also a Sunday check-in will carry a surcharge.
  • If you need to cancel your holiday for any reason we will not be able to refund any monies paid and therefore we recommend you should takes out your own travel insurance to cover you in case of this.

Our 2nd visit to AMI staying at Shell Cottage. Nothing had changed in 2 yeards, just as we experienced in 2010. A totally chilled out week doing as little as possible. Visited Brdige Street Bistro. If you want lush Ice Cream, visit Two Scoops at Anna Maria City Pier, Amazing!! Used the Trolley Bus, a good amount to get to Publix/Coquina Beach and switched to visit Long Boat Keys. Sad to be leaving.

This was our 2nd time visiting the Island and its still wonderful. Perfect weather all week long once again. There is no better place on the Gulf than right here!! This is Paradise!! We hope to be back a third year in a row.

Seahorse Cottage

This is our last year here!! I really can't remember how many times we've been - but we were the first people to ever make a reservation in these cottages. Many happy memories of here and a previous 10 years on Longboat Keys. As they used to say in old films - "As the sun sinks slowly in the west - its time to say on land (and sand) farewell to this lovely part of Florida"
