- Sleeps two: one queen size bed, kitchen & bath w/shower

We have just completed updating the cottage with a new bed, new flooring, new kitchen table and a new sofa. Property is located right on Lake Winnisquam with a panoramic view. Enjoy the tranquility and at the same time the beautiful water and beach front right at your steps. Includes dock for your boat. We have kayaks @ paddle boats for rent by the week - please inquire regarding rates. We are minutes from all activities in the lakes region: golf courses, miniature golf, shopping, antique stores, hiking & biking trails at Gunstock, Funspot & Weirs Beach as well as many fine restaurants. Fall activities include apple picking, mountain biking & the Zip Line at Gunstock as well as the beautiful foilage in all of New Hampshire.

The property consists of this cottage as well as another cottage, see listing #164866, shown in the background of the first picture, and the owner's residence to the right, as shown in the first picture. Rent both cottages for an extended family vacation.

Sit in living room or on deck and see the sunrise and sunset. These rentals are more like homes than rentals. Inside spotless and cozy. Grounds and gardening beautiful and maintained.

If you like rest and relaxation while vacationing this is a wonderful peaceful spot. I loved putting on a bathing suit and taking a few steps, voila your stepping into the lake.

Their are only 2 rentals so it's almost like having ownership of your own beach. We booked for 2010 upon leaving last August 2009. The owners are wonderful and very nice.

If you want things to do you are very close to Lake Winnipisauke, Kellerhaus, Funspot, mini-golf etc.
There are also several kayaks available to use.

Great spot for a couple or family. I was happy just to stay on property and grill for meals. Can't wait to be there again this year!

Heaven on Earth

We had the MOST AMAZING time on our vacation this year !! The house is beautiful & very comfortable , The view was spectacular !!! The owners were very helpful & very nice. The add for this property is perfect !! It was better than we could have imagined. We now have a new vacation spot for the years to come !! We didnt want to leave !! and will definately be back next year !! Thanks Doreen & Barb for the wonderful vacation spot !!!

Home away from home

This was our second stay at this wonderful cottage. Sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee in the wee hours of the morning to watch the sunrise and then again at night to see the moon reflecting in the water are priceless. Just steps away from the water for a quick dip, lounging on a raft or just sunbathing is so relaxing.
The cottage is immaculate and well stocked, and Barbara and Doreen are the perfect hosts.
This truly feels like our home away from home and can't wait to return next August.

Wonderful stay

Our family of four just finished a great week at this wonderful cottage. It is small, but the kids were outside constantly, so we didn't feel crowded. The surrounding water is shallow (less then 2-3 ft) and sandy for at least 30 yards out so it is great for young children. Boat traffic is very far away, so it's nice and quiet. There is lots of decking around the whole cottage and you hear the gentle waves all day long. The house was very clean, well maintained and had all the needed amentities. Doreen and Barbara were very courteous hosts. The house has a ceiling fan and floor fan with optional AC. The location is ideal; both on the lake and access to nearby groceries, conveince store and shopping. We highly recommend this rental.
Owner's Response: This was such a lovely family who really got to enjoy the full amenities of the lake. They swam all day long, fished and used the paddleboat to scope out the lake and head over to the sand bar to play. The highlight was when the ice cream boat would make its way over to the dock as the girls flagged them down for their ice cream treats. We renovated this year and made the cottage suitable for sleeping 2, however given the ages of the children (5 and 7) they opted to spend their vacation at this cottage. Based on their reviews and the excitement throughout the week it was wonderful to see just how much they enjoyed vacationing here at our cottage on Lake Winnisquam.

A Little Bit of Heaven

This cottage is adorable! It is very well maintained, clean, and comfortable, and there was a welcome basket with coffee and tea to great us. How thoughtful!

My daughter and grandchildren stayed in this front cottage and my sister I stayed in the cottage behind it. This front cottage has a fully equipped kitchen/pantry area, a bathroom with a good-sized shower, and two eating areas (one inside the cottage and one outside with a 4-chair umbrella table and a nice grill).

There is shade on either side of the cottage at different times during the day, so I was always able to put my chair in a nice,cool, shady spot to relax and read. The children loved the peddle boats, including the six-year old, who thought she was so grown up because she could maneuver it all by herself.

There was plenty for the children to do. They swam, took out the peddle boats, went tubing when my brother brought his boat over from the marina, played bocce on the lawn, and ate smores at night around the fire pit. My 10-year old grandson fished everyday. The owners brought over a small anchor so he could go fishing in the nearby cove and not drift away. Again ...very thoughtful.

There is a lot to do nearby, including miniature golf for the children and brand-name outlets where my daughter shopped on more than one occasion! The "Top of the Hill" restaurant was casual and the food was incredible, including the prices!

The cottage is right on the water and we watched the moon rise from behind the mountains across the lake every night. What a wonderful view ... and, what a wonderful time everyone had.

Thank you Doreen and Barbara. Your property could easily be featured in one of the "Cabin Life" magazines that was on the coffee table with other reading material and local maps ...another nice touch.
