Ocean Isle Beach is a nice island beach and is a very family-oriented residential beach community. I has the quiet atmosphere, that has been lost to much of the Myrtle Beach area, yet is only 20 minutes all the attractions of N.Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Ocean Isle is also very unique due to the canal waterways that run through the island. This great vacation rental home is located on a concrete canal waterway and has a private dock. The home was built in the 90's and is up-to-date in every way. We are located on a beach access street a short 300 yard easy walk to the surf. The home is in the central part of the island about 2 miles from the center of the small business district of Ocean Isle Beach. There are 30 golf courses within 20 minutes of the house, Calabash is 15 minutes away, and there are even gambling cruise boats in nearby Little River, SC. This vacation rental home is priced below similar places at Ocean Isle that are handled by the big companies. Great Value.

Notes: Inside is an large open area, plus a covered porch. The living area provides plenty of space for the expanded family. There is ample parking in the driveway and covered parking underneath the house. We include access to the bikes and beach chairs, for your use and enjoyment. This home is very nicely furnished and is clean, beachy, and bright.

This vacation house has a great layout for a large family or group, it houses 14 people comfortably, and allows everyone their own space. It is in easy walking distance of the beach, and golf carts are available on the island.The canal provides another entertainment feature for children to swim or fish.The owner was very prompt in responding to all inquiries and provided good service. Our only problem there was that the house was not clean when we arrived, I reported this to the owner and she is checking into why the cleaning service didn't do their job. Also, the ladder going into the water off the dock was in bad condition, and the children were not able to use it to get out of the canal. I would recommend this house to anyone who needs a lot of space, it is well laid out, and a lot of house for a reasonable rent. Ocean Isle is a great beach for family vacations, it has a few shops, a few restaurants, but is mostly about the beach, a great place for kids.
Owner's Response: We did not receive notice of Rsnne's concerns until after her departure. At that time, we immediately contacted the manager of our cleaning crew and made her aware of the concerns stated. It is our goal and the goal of the cleaners to be certain that all guests arrive at accommadations that are clean and comfortable.
