This cottage is new but evokes a classic summer in Maine feeling. Open living/kitchen/dining area situated with a lovely view of the water. You'll see egrets, great blue herons and osprey on the tidal frontage, as you watch the sun rise and sip your morning cup of coffee. Built in 2003, this cottage features pine floors, bead board walls and lots of windows to catch the view. One bedroom upstairs with a full size bed and one bedroom downstairs with a queen to sleep 4. A twin bed and two couches can accommodate 3 more if needed. Fully equipped kitchen includes a gas range, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher. Washing machine and dryer located in the full basement. Bring your own kayaks or use the four provided to slip in the water from the front yard. Or just relax and swing in the hammock. Close to Bowdoin College and Maine State Music Theater, restaurants, movie theaters, historic Bath, shopping in Freeport, great beaches, golf, water sports and more.

Located near the village of Cundy's Harbor, Maine's oldest fishing village. 8 minutes from grocery shopping at Cook's Corner in Brunswick. Explore the local coast line by car, bike, foot or boat. This is an excellent spot for outdoor adventure or just relaxing and enjoying the view. Whale watching, harbor seal cruises, tall ships, Bath Heritage days, and shopping at L.L. Bean are just a few of the summer activities available to visitors. You will get the freshest lobster right off the boat from the lobster pound just down the road.

We (a family of 4 with 2 small kids) loved our stay at this very clean, peaceful and well equiped oceanfront cottage. Especially enjoyed the kayaks and the canoe. Very secluded, but only short drives to grocery shopping and only 30 min. to Freeport. Useful tourist information and guide book provided. Loved the beaches and cooking lobster fresh from the dock.
We would definitely recommend this place!

Wonderful location on the water,yet close to town. Cottage was very clean,well equiped and quiet. Owner accesible if needed. Enjoyed the kayaks and appreciated the tourist info for guests. We would recommend this rental and hope to return next year!
