Our first visit to Florida

Rick,
Thank you for such a lovely, comfortable place to call home-base during our time in Florida. We found it convenient to everywhere we went, from New Smyrna Speedway, to Daytona Speedway, to Kennedy Space Center and, of-course, Daytona Beach. Two grocery stores and a pharmacy were just minutes away. Due to the time of year, we were not able to use the pool, but the covered patio and grill were put to good use. We had minor issues with the house, but a quick visit to Doug (the caretaker and next-door nieghbor) would've solved it. My advice would be: Don't feel unpolite, pester. Others have commented on the dated furniture, but we found it comfortable. We were vacationing with two pre-teen boys - staying in a house that resembles a museum, with furniture you're afraid to sit on, is not a good idea. The split bedroom plan worked out well for two families. Nice restuarants, fast food places, a very upscale mall and tons of activities were within five minutes drive. We hope the house is available the next time we're in Florida - we'd love to stay again.
