During the spring, summer and fall months, there are many natural attractions just waiting to be explored. There is boating, swimming, sunbathing, fishing, hunting, kayaking, hiking, horseback riding and golfing. For those who want to explore the area, take a drive and experience the laid-back beauty of the Pocono Mountains and the shining waters that divide the ridges and reflect the calm. The highways have back roads quietness, with a variety of unhurried stops: at family picnic areas, historic society museums, and old mill, pond and river fishing accesses, a fish hatchery, and farm stands. You can also see the remnants of the Delaware and Hudson Canal; ride on the Stourbridge Line excursion train; visit the Dorflinger Glass Museum. During the winter months, when the lake is frozen: ice skates, cross-country skis, snowmobile and horse-drawn sleighs offer alternative conveyances. When ice, frost, and snow brush the Pocono landscape, it is easy to become inspired.

This brand new log cabin is fully equipped with cozy stone fireplace, cable TV and DVD player situated in the living room. The kitchen has modern new appliances including a microwave, dishwasher, coffeemaker, toaster and plenty of dishes and pots & pans. The dining room is off the kitchen and the two decks offer a view of the beautiful wooded surroundings. There are 3 bedrooms (king size bed & 2 double beds) with ceiling fans. There are 2 ½ baths with a jacuzzi tub in the master bath. There is a washer/dryer in the basement.
Area::
Scranton is 25 minutes away. Lots of shopping, and sightseeing in the area. The quaint town of Hawley is at the north end of the lake. Lots of antique shops and restaurants! 18,000 acres of adjoining state game lands for outside sports and pleasure. There are several restaurants where you can dock your boat and dine.
