The surf can be gentle or strong depending on the wind and the sand is amazing. Access to the beach is easy, over paved road and finally, a short 30 to 50 yard walk over sand to the dunes and beach.

We had a great week in August at Frankie Starlight. The location in Madaket is excellent, the cottage is very comfortable with everything you need for a great holiday on the beach!

Loved our stay at Frank's Madaket place - so close to the beach and a short drive into town (would recommend bringing car to the island). The house is perfect for small families as well as the friends / in-laws with the extra cottage. All the amenities are there (bikes, charcoal grill, charcoal, etc.) for your fantastic stay.

Wish we could stay there full time...
