Smoke Free & Pet Free Home is on the southwestern side of Bromley Mountain, and we call it ' Buckrun '. It is nestled and secluded ( not isolated ) on 30 very private acres in Vermont's Beautiful Green Mountain National Forest. The address is 21 HOYT RD PVT, just off the Toll Gate Road, Manchester Center, VT - the driveway is 1/2 mile long. The great room is a living room / dining room combination with cathedral ceiling, 28 ft of 6 ft 8 inches of glass patio doors looking out at a magnificent panoramic view of Mount Equinox, Little Equinox Mountain, Mother Myrick Mountain, Bear Mountain, Mount Aeolis and Tabor Mountain. A spacious 16' x 16' wooded outdoor deck makes you feel like you're in a tree house. A propane gas grill is available on the deck for cookouts. The lower level has a storage area, laundry room / washer & dryer. Think of it, an entire home for less than the cost of an upscale hotel room. 3 miles to town, Manchester Ctr.. And in Massachusetts, Jiminy Peak at Lanesborough, MA is 54 miles. All are within a scenic one hour drive from Buckrun.

  • A 50 % Security Damage Deposit is Required on the rental rate.

    Please note two seasons with rates, summer & winter. Winter rates are $ 500 higher per week.

    Winter is November 1, 2009 to May 1, 2010.

    Summer = One week minimum ( 7 nights ) = $ 900.00 and each additional night is $ 100.00, 05-01-09 to 10-31-09.
    Winter = One week minimum ( 7 nights ) = $1,400.00 and each additional night is $ 170.00, 11-01-09 to 04-30-10.

    A Seasonal Rate of from 2 to 6 months may be arranged.

    An annual rental fee may be available as well.

  • A combination lock box holding the house key is at the front door to give you access to Buckrun. Master bedroom has master bath. The other two bedrooms share a full bathroom. Sofa bed (queen size) is also available for sleeping 2 in Great Room. Trundle bed pulls out and can sleep 2. Comfy for 6 people. At the end of your stay, please put soiled dishes in the dishwasher and run the dishwasher. Linens and bath towels are provided. Please strip the beds of sheets and pillowcases and put them and the bath towels down stairs in the lower level laundry room for our cleaning lady. Thank you.
