Ahh...peaceful and relaxing

The bungalow is so cozy, warm and inviting. From the moment you walk through the door, you appreciate all the special touches the owners have done. It's lovely and clean with comfortable furnishings. Sitting out on the water with a cup of coffee early in the morning is peaceful and relaxing. I loved the cooler evenings sitting out by the fire, watching the herons, ducks and seagulls. Curling up in the chair and sofa in front of the fireplace with a book was equally relaxing. Having a delightful park to walk around just a few moments drive down the road is a plus. It is very conveniently located to the grocery store and downtown. It's a short drive to Skaneateles as well. My time there was absolutely wonderful! I'll definately be returning!

AMAZING

This is my second year staying at the Bungalow and it is by far the best place on the lake to stay! The owners have everything there you could possibly want. The welcome basket of s'mores and wine put a smile on everyone's face. Even though the weather didn't agree to much with us, we had an amazing time and can't wait to go back next year!!

Fun at the lake!!

Our bungalow was huge & met all of our needs! The entire upstairs was devoted to a large bedroom, 3 big beds & a sitting area, with a large closet. Since it was just me & Dad, we used the 2 bedrooms downstairs. A feature we esp. liked were the wide windows, views from every part of the house, also providing some nice cross breezes. The kitchen stretched across the back of the house with many pots, pans & utensils. I had a family BBQ one night & had everything I needed. We ate on the deck overlooking the water, beautiful. There's even a beach area with firepit surrounded by chairs & our wonderful hosts provided the makings for s'mores! The water is crystal clear here & I went for a swim almost each day. The Sunset Restaurant was one of the best meals & Green Shutters had a tremendous breakfast with great sandwiches for lunch. Tom Thumb, just up the road, had one of the best Mexican sundaes ever, not to mention the coney's! Thankyou for a nice, relaxing vacation, we hope to come back annually! Sincerely,

This bungalow has everything you could ever want in a vacation home. It was quiet, close to the water, the kitchen was huge and a full size washer/dryer. The windows provided a beautiful view of the lake. The moon and the reflection on the water was especially gorgeous. I found myself lying in bed staring at it one night. The soothing sound of the water all night was really nice too. We were able to bring our dachshunds and they didn't have any trouble adjusting to the surroundings. The temperature was too chilly for swimming but the beach chairs and firepit were enjoyed. Fishing is good and you are close to the launch. We had a lovely time and look forward to next year.

Review of Beachfront Bungalow

This property could not have been nicer. The bungalow was furnished beautifully, immaculate and equipped with everything we needed and more. I did a lot of cooking while we were there, and found the kitchen stocked with every tool I could possibly have wanted. We especially enjoyed the welcome gifts of wine and the makings for s'mores!

Our hosts were gracious and made our vacation delightful. Even though the weather was not perfect, they suggested a number of day trips which were a hit rain or shine. We shopped and ate in Skaneateles, saw a summer stock production of The Producers at the Roundabout Theater, and traveled to the opposite end of the lake for a meal at a "float-in" restuarant. Some family members used the kayaks and canoe provided, while others enjoyed the pontoon boat we rented for the week. One of the biggest hits of the week was simply gathering on the dock to enjoy the sunset each evening.

While the bungalow was not huge, there was room for guests and we appreciated the fact that we were allowed to bring our dog. The neighbors were very friendly without being intrusive. Our extended family and friends had a great time and we would all love to return next year.
