Description of the South Bristol vacation cottage rental
This charming, newly renovated cottage is in the Kings Cove area of South Bristol. Just a minute’s walk away is the secluded and shared sandy tidal beach perfect for looking for sea glass or launching your kayak/canoe for a day’s adventure. Enjoy the large open deck with propane grill or the table and chairs for dining out or enjoying the quiet outdoors. An outside hot/cold shower is available. When the festivities need to move indoors, head inside the screened-in porch and relax in the wicker furniture and rocking chairs. A working lobster coop is a few minutes away where you can purchase fresh lobsters and clams and have them steamed on site and enjoyed at the cottage. Our spacious living room has a wood fireplace, TV, VCR/DVD player and a queen pull-out sofa. You can easily fit 4 adults and 4 children. Electric heat for the occasional chilly night is available in all rooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave oven and washer/dry

There are many coves, islands and estuaries to explore by canoe or kayak right from the sandy beach. Christmas Cove on Rutherford Island is a mile or two down the road. Dine at Coveside Restaurant with spectacular views of Christmas Cove. A public golf course is 10 minutes away. Damariscotta is 20 minutes away where you will find fine restaurants, shopping, movie theater, grocery store and kayak/canoe rentals. Boothbay Harbor is a quick 40 minutes away for more shopping, restaurants and other interesting places. Pemaquid lighthouse & beach, puffin & island tours, walking trails, historical sites, antique shops, and more are all nearby. Freeport, home of LL Bean, is 90 minutes away where there are outlet shopping and fine restaurants.

Check-in time: No Earlier than 3:00 PM on day of arrival. Check-out time: No Later than 10:00 AM on day of departure. Rental period is on a Saturday to Friday schedule (checking out on Saturday by 10:00 AM).
$250 non-refundable reservation deposit is required. Remaining rental fee, along with a $300 security deposit, is required at least two weeks prior to rental date and is usually spread between the reservation date to the rental date.
Beginning on May 1, 2009 a $100 per stay cleaning fee will be charged.
