This lovely Santa Fe-style home is located only 15 minutes from the University of Arizona and downtown on a very quiet, private and peaceful one acre in the Tucson Mountains foothills. Enjoy panoramic views of the Tucson and Catalina Mountains, city lights and fantastic star-filled night skies. The graciously designed first level includes a spacious sunken living room featuring 14 foot ceilings, built-in window-seats and entertainment center including big-screen 60 inch TV with built-in Bose surround sound. The cherry beamed-ceiling family room features a Talavera tiled fireplace with triple French doors leading to a cool and welcoming covered flagstone patio. Free high speed wi-fi internet is available throughout the property. A breakfast nook, separate dining area and gourmet kitchen complete the living spaces.

Our tennis group enjoyed our stay at Desert Winds, name of this house, very much. The views of the city lights and the stars at night were spectacular! The home is very spacious. The house was tastefully decorated and provided everything you could need or want. We especially enjoyed the pool and the spa. Great place to sit on a patio or in the spa to contemplate life! Very quiet neighborhood and the cacti outside each house made the neighborhood looks artistic. I would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again if I ever go back to Tucson.

Four couples really enjoyed your desert retreat in early April, 2008. The house is ideally situated with great views of the mountains and the city. We appreciated the spaciousness of this 5 BR 3 B home and the great deck, pool and spa were equally inviting. We would recommend this home to desert vacationers.

We have two children attending the University of Arizona and found this home for our stay in Tucson. The house worked fabulously for our family. It has five wonderful bedrooms and two entertainment areas. Although it was over 100 degrees outside during the day, the house stayed very cool. Of course, our kids very much enjoyed the pool and spa.

Thanks Rich and Andy for the use of your wonderful home. It was the perfect home base for our daughter's graduation from U of A. Peaceful, relaxing, with all the comforts of home. Time slipped away as we enjoyed eating, talking and the view from the patio until after midnight each night. Very convenient to grocery shopping and freeway access. We hope to be back for a visit again soon!

My husband and I came with four other friends for Rockies Spring Training. This was the perfect place to hang out between baseball games and golf outings. We began each morning having breakfast on the patio and taking a wake-up dip in the heated pool and hot tub. We ended each day with a night-cap, swim and hot tub under the stars.
Everyone slept like babies. Felt like we were at a spa! We will definitely come back and recommend this home to anyone who is looking for such a place to stay in Tucson!
