Walk to restaurants. Only 10 minutes away to the wonders of historic St. Augustine's Lighthouse, Castillo de San Marcos, Alligator Farm, Ripley's Original Believe It Or Not, and Fountain of Youth. Just 2 hours or less are Kennedy Space Center, Disney World, Universal Studios, Daytona and Orlando. Even closer are World Golf Village, Marineland, and outlet shopping. Your Ocean Peek sunrise wakens you, and the sun sets out the kitchen. Both can be viewed from your corner balcony. Ocean boardwalk is beside the pool. Pack your beach attire and shop for groceries. Everything else is here.

The county has 42 miles of beaches and the scenic St. John's River. Nature lovers can walk forest trails, tidal marshes and experience the breathtaking beauty of the shores at Anastasia State Park and the Guana-Tolomato-Matanzas National Esturine Reserch Reserve. History comes alive in re-enactments and special events: Founder's Day, Colonial Arts & Crafts Festival, Greek Landing Day, British Grande Illumination, Los Posados Celebration, Menendez Festival, Minorcan Festival, Drake's Raid and the Blessing of the Fleet.
