Delightfully situated in the village of El Pinar, Casa Piedras is a privately owned villa with a fabulous 11x5m Roman-style pool, huge patio, gazebo, lighting and a variety of sunny and shaded areas for alfresco dining. Accommodation comprises entrance hall, fully fitted kitchen, utility room, large dining room, lounge with double doors opening on to the rear garden. Two fully-fitted twin-bedded rooms with en-suite shower rooms. Huge master bedroom/family room with panoramic views of the mountains/village, king size bed, walk-in wardrobe and a large en-suite bathroom. Fans for summer heating for winter. Sat TV, PlayStation 2/DVD, CD player, barbecue, boules. Casa Piedras has the advantage of being a Spanish farmhouse-style villa with extensive grounds offering modern amenities fully equipped to a high standard. El Pinar is a small mountain village situated in the foothills of the Sierra Filabres Mountains with spectacular sea and mountain views. The village is close to the delightful towns of Bedar, Mojacar and Garrucha. In the centre of the village (a few minutes walk from the villa) there is a bar and restaurant with its own large swimming pool open to visitors. The local shops are a 5 minute drive away in one of the nearby villages. The beach is only a 15 minute drive away with many beach bars offering delicious food and drinks and some have sunbeds and parasols. Mojacar Pueblo (the village of Mojacar) is again only a 15 minute drive away and set in the mountains overlooking the playa. From here you can experience fabulous views.

Additional information about rental rates

  • All above weekly rates are based upon a 2 week stay for up to 6 people. For additional guests, please add £25 per extra guest per week. For a single week between June and September, please add 10% of the total cost. All services, linen and towels are included (execpt beach towels). A cot and high chair are both available. The owner provides a complimentary starter pack for your arrival. Low season long lets are welcome of 1 month or more by negotiation with the owners.
  • To help get your holiday off to a flying start I provide directions from the airport to the villa together with information on the area that may be of use to you. The information includes places of interest to visit, local restaurants and bars, supermarkets, chemists, banks etc.

Notes: The main bedroom/family room has a king size bed, a 120cm sofa-bed suitable for 2 children, a cot/playpen and hairdyer. The 2 twin-bedded rooms have 3/4 size beds and hairdryers.There is also a double sofa-bed in the dining room. The two twin bedded rooms have large en-suite shower rooms. The main bedroom/ family room has a large bathroom with an over-bath shower and twin basins. The newly fitted kitchen has all modern amenities and a highchair. PlayStation 2/DVD. Ample off road parking space. FOR WINTER LETS, in addition to the wood burning stove in the lounge, the villa has newly installed wall mounted heaters in every room to add to your comfort. In addition to the mains water supply at Casa Pidras we also have a huge aljibe (water tank). Should the water supply in the village be in short supply, the tank ensures constant water at the villa.

Villa Details: The villa is surrounded by a white-walled garden which leads to the large pool with 6 sunbeds and a gazebo to provide shade. A number of patio tables and chairs are positioned around the villa. The front of the property has a large covered terrace, fixed table and bench overlooking the front garden and superb views. The ground floor accommodation comprises entrance hall, fully fitted kitchen, utility room, large dining room with two wall mounted heaters, wood burning fire and double sofa-bed. The comfortably furnished lounge has wall mounted heater, cast iron wood-burning stove and double doors opening on to the rear garden with covered patio area. The 2 fully fitted twin-bedded rooms, both have wall heaters, fans and en-suite shower rooms. The upper floor accommodation comprises a huge master bedroom with king-size bed, sofa-bed, two heater units, walk in wardrobe, fan and a large en-suite bathroom with twin basins. Also available, 3 bedroom 2 bathroom village house 5 min drive away.

Facilities in the surrounding area: For those seeking all the facilities of a modern Spanish holiday, the villa is only a 15 minutes drive from the beach resort of Mojacar Playa. Small villages nearby provide open markets, supermarkets and restaurants with excellent tapas and lovely sea food. For golfers there are 4 courses within a short drive from the villa. For children, there is a water park and Mini Hollywood to visit and see where Clint filmed his Spaghetti Westerns.

Weekly linen change: Our local English contact will be in El Pinar for your assistance and will provide a weekly linen change, pool maintenance and cleaning between lets. You will arrive to made up beds and a welcome pack in the fridge.

We had a great time staying at this property it was very well equipped with everything you would have in your own home. The gardens were especially beautiful I couldnt resist pottering around in them bliss!!
The pool is stunning but we found the water was it abit too cold best just to jump in and brave it.
The beds were very comfortable and clean with plenty of fresh bedlinen provided.
There is even books for adults and children to read, board games to play and a stack of magazines to flick through fantastic! If you want to really spoil yourself this property is the place for you it ticks all the boxes.
Thank you Alison and Chris for making our holiday one to remember.

What an holiday, if it's relaxation and a home from home, you can't go wrong; except I wish my home was this nice.
The villa has everything you could think of possibly needing and more, it was clean and tidy and although a car helped us see a lot more of the area, if you wanted a totally lazy holiday this villa would allow you do it. The sea front is about a 15 min drive with the usual ammenities and a variety of restaraunts but the village of Bedar is closer and well worth a walk around.
I would recommend this villa to friends and we will be going back.

July 08 this was our third blissful holiday at this outstanding villa, it has everything for a perfect holiday, breathtaking mountain views. Huge spotlessly clean villa, lots of charm and character. Outstanding newly fitted, well equipped kitchen (we were most impressed). The outside spaces are excellent, private and peaceful all with a different view. The pool and sun terrace is magnificent, fitted with lights for night swimming (lots of fun)
The area has everything, both sleepy quaint villages our favourite being Bedar, or only a short drive away is mojacar playa and town.
Wonderful highly recommended.

Casa Piedras is a fantastic villa......the pictures and description don't really do it justice!. The villa is very well equipped, great layout (all bedrooms en-suite was a bonus), clean, and very spacious. Having stayed in Villas in the Med since the eighties, it has to be the nicest we have come across. It's location in relation to Almeria Airport is great, making for a hassle free journey. If you're looking to relax and experience some of the 'real' Spain, then this is the place.....we loved Bedar (good restaurants, very friendly), and Mojacar is only 15 mins by car. There were two teenagers (17) and two 20 year olds in our party and they also thought it was amazing.......can't see how you could fail to be impressed! Unconditionally recommended........we hope to return soon!!
