Country setting--Our cozy, renovated farmhouse is just the place to relax and unwind. For the outdoor enthusiast, roam 150 acres of woods, pastures and streams or ski at Greek Peak. Bird watch from our large porches. Fishing (ice fishing derby in winter) at nearby reservoir.

South View Is Fantastic

A group of friends and I stayed a weekend here and went skiing at nearby greek peak. We had an excellent stay, plenty of country to explore, cows and roosters nearby and plenty of cookware which allowed for us to cook for ourselves all weekend. The owner was great to communicate with and always responded quickly and friendly. We had a great weekend!

Great Place to Stay

We totally enjoyed our stay at South View. At first we were going to stay at one of the commercial hotels in the area and are so thrilled that someone told us about South View Farms. It is immaculate, charming and decorated with beautiful antiques. The beds are super comfy and we had every home away from home amenity (refridgerator, washer, dryer, t.v.'s, hair dryer etc.) that we could possibly desire. We were able to sit on the wrap around proch and enjoy the vast and beautiful countryside. If you are planning a trip to the Lisle/Binghamton area, I highly recommend South View. I know that is where we'll stay again on our next trip to the area.

South View was a great place to stay! It was very clean and the kitchen was very well equiped. The owner quickly answered our questions prior to our stay and was easy to reach when needed. The porch was a peaceful, cool place to gather to eat dinner each night. We commmuted to Binghamton University for the week, which was an easy, highway drive. I would recommend this property and would rent it again.
