Inviting four bedroom home in Blodgett Landing, quick 3 minute walk to beautiful Lake Sunapee and 6 miles to entrance of Mount Sunapee Ski Resort. Summertime fun includes private neighborhood beach, boat launch and fishing. Golf courses just minutes away, also nearby ample hiking/walking trails. Winter brings ample opportunity for downhill and cross country skiing, snowboarding, and snowmobiling. House has two wood stoves (wood included), fully equipped kitchen, dinning room area, washer and dryer. Gas grill for outdoor cooking. Wrap around deck and plenty of yard space for outdoor play.

Our Ski Weekend

We just returned from a fabulous ski weekend at Mount Sunapee. We rented this house from www.homeaway.com that was advertised as a 4 bedroom that slept 10. With 2 families that included 8 kids, we figured we would make do with the space. The house actually had accommodations for 10 in the four bedrooms, then 2 more on the fold out in the living room and slept another 3 on the daybeds in the finished lower level. It was just a few minutes from the base of the mountain, had docking rights for summer trips, 2 woodburning stoves, video games for the kids, a grill, fully equipped kitchen and much more.
The owners were very nice, we were even able to negotiate a much later check out time on Sunday so everyone could clean up after skiing.
We were very impressed with our rental, and by the Homeaway service. We will be sure to use www.homeway.com in the future and to spread the word.

Be Prepared

Owner should add more details. Be prepared to take all your trash to the dump yourself as well as strip all the beds. This is even if you pay the extra fee for maid service. If you stay for a week, you might consider renting a pick up truck.

No Over the Air TV. Small 19" TV in basement with DVD player only. No A/C.
Owner's Response: It is common practice when renting another persons home to remove your own trash. We offer a pass to the local transfer station to make this task easier. The cleaning fee does not cover trash removal.

We do not offer maid service. At the end of each rental period we hire a cleaning service to prepare our home for the next renters. We ask that you bring your sheets and towels to the laundry area as you leave.

All HomeAway web sites offer an extensive list of amenities for each property. When preparing for your rental one can check and see what is available or not at this property. Feel free to email us with any questions that you may have.
