Our Ski Weekend

We just returned from a fabulous ski weekend at Mount Sunapee. We rented this house from www.homeaway.com that was advertised as a 4 bedroom that slept 10. With 2 families that included 8 kids, we figured we would make do with the space. The house actually had accommodations for 10 in the four bedrooms, then 2 more on the fold out in the living room and slept another 3 on the daybeds in the finished lower level. It was just a few minutes from the base of the mountain, had docking rights for summer trips, 2 woodburning stoves, video games for the kids, a grill, fully equipped kitchen and much more.
The owners were very nice, we were even able to negotiate a much later check out time on Sunday so everyone could clean up after skiing.
We were very impressed with our rental, and by the Homeaway service. We will be sure to use www.homeway.com in the future and to spread the word.
