'Colebrook Trails' is our charming vacation rental home. It is minutes from the storybook town of Colebrook, NH and 3 miles to the famous Balsam's Resort. This chalet is nested on 2 acres of classic NH countryside with 230 feet of Mohawk River in the back yard. We are a left turn from Coleman State Park which boasts the Sno-D-O and some of the best sledding trails in New England! Moose sightings in the area are common. The road between Colebrook & Errol is known as 'Moose Alley' for good reason. Normally you can sled from the house to the gas station a few blocks away ~ from there, select the Balsam's trail or Corridor 5! If downhill or cross country skiing is for you, the Balsams is 3 miles away! If you just need to unwind and relax Colebrook Trails has everything you'd need to be comfortable. We are minutes from the charming town of Colebrook, New Hampshire. This is a full service village that looks like it belongs on a Christmas card. The home is just 3 miles from the famous Balsams Resort, 5 miles to Coleman State Park (next left) and 15 miles to Errol. There is spectacular snowmobile and cros country ski trails in the area. Wildlife (Moose!) and nature lovers will not be disappointed! If you are a skiier, the Balsams wilderness ski area has great downhill slopes without the crowds. But if you just want to relax, the home has everything you would want or need to feel comfy right in the house. You can take a simple VIDEO TOUR of the home and grounds by going to You Tube on your computer (not a mobile device) and entering Colebrook Trails Tour in the search box. Thanks

Moose, Muffins & Much More !

My husband & I, along with our 3 Grandsons(13,11,6) couldn't have enjoyed oursleves more! Kayaking by day & moose sighting by night. Mr. & Mrs. Lee were the best of hosts. 'Colebrook Trails" was equiped with every amenity we could have asked for & much more ! Even in August the stream running through the property was a joy for the boys.The near by town of Colebrook has a good size IGA.We even went for dinner in Canada. If you are looking for quiet,you 'got it'.If you want adventure,'it's all there'.We hope to return to Colebrook Trails again & again. This was our first experience with a rental.If they are all like the Lee's, Colebrook Trails......well you can't ask for more!!!

“Colebrook Trails” is on one of the nicest snowmobile trail systems in NH. It’s right there! If the season is getting late into March as it was for us, then a 5 minute ride up to Coleman State Park is no problem at all. When you’re done riding for the day/night then you can come back, cook supper and relax at Colebrook Trails. You can watch a DVD, read a book or play a game from their varied collection. Honestly, we didn’t have enough nights! When Gary told us sheets & towels were all we needed to bring he could not have been more precise! Their home had everything you need (and forget) when you’re going away! Even things we brought thinking would not be there- were. It made our stay a most enjoyable time. The 320+ miles of near excellent conditions on the sleds were icing on the cake! Next year’s snowmobile vacation will be based from here for sure. Thank you, Gary and Joan, for making this part of our vacation so pleasurable.

PS- Sightseeing too, take a ride through Dixville Notch, it's at most 15 minutes east. See if you don't bump you're head on the windshield looking for where the road went at the top! It's majestic.

If you are looking for a romantic getaway for the just the two of you or maybe you would like to to bring the whole crew, this is the place to come when you want all the comforts of home. We had six people on our stay and we never felt crowded. All the ameneties that are included will make you feel right at home!!! So much so that we have come here for the past three years and are looking for many more to come. Can't wait for next year. Thank You Gary & Joan for opening up your house for helping us to enjoy God's country.
