Located 1/2 mile from Georgetown Lake and 6 miles from Discovery Ski Area, Whispering Pines Guest Cabin is a great all season get away. The cozy cabin features a gas fireplace, TV with VCR/DVD, games, full kitchen complete with stove, fridge, microwave, coffee pot, crock pot, all pots & pans, linens are provided, and washer & dryer. Enjoy a BBQ on the gas grill on the deck or relax in the hot tub under the stars. Winter activities include: downhill skiing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, kite skiing, and ice fishing. Summer activities include: hiking, fishing, mountain biking. Nearby attractions include: Sapphire mining, golfing, ghost towns, historic towns like Philipsburg, Anaconda, and Butte. Whispering Pines Guest Cabin: Our cozy guest cabin has everything you need for a weekend get away or a week long retreat. Just bring food, the nearest Safeway is in Anaconda 14 miles away, everything else is provided.

Year round recreation: Georgetown Lake provides activities for all seasons from ice fishing, snowmobiling, downhill and cross-country skiing to hiking, fishing, and mountain biking.

Ski: Discovery Basin Ski Resort - Known for light powder, inexpensive prices, and uncrowded slopes. There are 440 acres of ski-able terrain with a total vertical drop of 1,300 feet equally divided between beginner, intermediate, advanced and expert slopes. Located 6 miles from the cabin. Mount Haggin Nordic Ski Area - Enjoy trails that wind through historic logging camps and furnish spectacular winter mountain vistas that include over 25 kilometers of ski trails that reach to the Continental Divide. The trail system is groomed weekly and is located 15 miles south of Anaconda on Highway 274.

Golf: Old Works Golf Course - Play Montana’s only Jack Nicklaus Signature course and enjoy a truly challenging experience. This unique course is an excellent result of remediation efforts by ARCO and Superfund. Located 18 miles east of cabin.
