RUSTIC HIDEOUT CONTEMPORARY, HOT TUB, SAUNA AND BAR

My friends and family had a GREAT TIME! This beautiful house was the ideal vacation home. My friends and family went from young to young at heart 80 and every one of us felt extra special in this house. Stephe (the owner) made sure everthing was perfect upon arrival. Even included a nice bottle of wine and doggie treats for our little dog. All of the rooms were immaculate. The gameroom was exceptional...We all had fun on the slot machine,challenged one another at the pool table, played poker at the card table, enjoyed lots of arcade games and when we were finished we kicked back watching a movie on a big flatscreen TV while we sipped margaritas, and wine prepared at a "like professional bar". The hot tub and the sauna we all used and I loved having a piano to play. The house itself is more beautiful then the photos and every night we took photos of the deer grazing on the back property. The rooms and bedrooms and kitchen had everything you would want and were all comfortable and large. We all sat around the kitchen table like "The Waltons" and even began saying goodnight to one another in "John Boy" fashion. The area THE HIDEOUT is unbelievable. We were busy every day..Beaches, Lakes, softball, handball, tennis, golf, fishing, boating, gym, mini golf, art center, skateboard park, restaurants are all right in the gated community. within 20 minutes away was antique shopping, horseback riding, rafting, casino and a ton more...It was all perfect...Just Perfect !!!! This was a great house and the owner could not be more accommodating.He was very easy to reach and available to answer all of our questions.I have rented many houses over the years and no one has been easier to deal with than Stephen. The adults enjoyed the very large downstairs game room as much as the kids. We had 13 people in our group and had plenty of room to be apart when we wanted to be.We enjoyed his wide selection of dvds, late nights on the screened in porch at the over sized table and playing pool while hanging out at our own bar.We couldn't get the kids out of the hot tub and loved that it was in its own private room. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals including pots/pans/plates etc... even spices. There were plenty of paper products, dish soap and cleaning products for our use. The house was very clean and well kept. Everyone in the community from the guard at the gate to the neighbors and other guest at the lake and pool were friendly and helpful. Stephen left a well organized book with info on the house and the community.The community has a lot to offer(pool,lake,restaurant/bar,parks etc..) and is conveniently located near many stores.We enjoyed go carting and miniature golf five minutes away and a short drive (30-40 min) to the water park. We loved feeding the deer everyday in the back yard .I had a chance to meet Stephen when we were leaving (we were running late) and found him to be a very sincere,sweet man.We would definitely rent this home again.Thanks again for giving us a stress free vacation.

We just had a family reunion in this house and must say that we totally plan on going again! What a fantastic house and piece of property. the house was big enough to fit us all comfortably and give us room to spread out.
The pictures accurately portray the house but don't give quite the sense of freedom that it provides. Having everything we needed provided in the kitchen was a wonderful surprise! Seasonings were available for use which helped us avoidf the necessity of purchasing them.
Also the yard in back is large and open untill the woods which means you get to see a great deal of deer and wildlife. We put bird feeders up and saw many different species, the highlight being the three different types of woodpeckers!
The hutch in the kitchen had some menus from area restaraunts and we were thrilled to get ribs from Kundla's which has some of the best ribs anywhere!
the owner was a pleasure to deal with and he came mid way through the week for a scheduled visit to check the hot tub. What a great guy and conscientious owner. everything was in great order and the instructions for the house were great, explaining how all the switches worked, etc.
i have stayed many places in the Poconos but this was by far the nicest house, with the best amenities that we have ever been to! i am gathering a group of friends together to rent the property in the future because i don't want to wait 5 yrs for the next reunion!
