This special cottage includes a screen porch , front open deck, side open deck with table and umbrella , grill and picnic table. Fishing, boating and a community dock afford loads of fun for everyone on the Suwannee River. For your family or a family reunion, this cottage provides a retreat away from hectic life and a return to the lazy river. Cottage can be rented as a one bedroom/one bath for 2 people. Centrally located in Florida’s nature coast, families will delight in all that the Suwannee River and area springs have to offer. Enjoy the water treasures that include an abundance of natural springs where you can scuba dive, swim and snorkel as well as enjoy a day of boating and catching “the big one” on the Suwannee River. Also nearby you can find bird watching, hiking and biking. Take a day trip first stopping at the Dakotah Winery, for wine tasting then continue south to the historic Cedar Key. The cottage is only 48 miles from the Univ. of FL where you can enjoy the arts, plays and of course Florida football. Antiquing, shrimp festivals, old Florida style cook offs, and area art festivals round out things to do on your retreat from hectic life.

A True Place to Get Away From It All!

If you truly want to get away from it all, this is the place. So peaceful and quiet and the accomodations are first class! Only 1 restaurant and a little market, so you want to take your own food, but the rental has barbeque grills, your own fire pit and a fully equipped kitchen with washer and dryer. My husband rented a canoe and fished his way down the suwannee river. Oh, and for families with children and teenagers, they have volleyball, a nature walking trail and furnish you with your own golf cart to get around the property. We hope to make it back very soon with some friends!
