'Over the river and through the woods.....to grandmother's house we go.' Come and stay at grandma's house - almost exactly the way it was when all 8 of us were raised there. Perfect for two families to share; pets considered. It's a big home - comfy, warm, and lots of room to stretch out. Four bedrooms (sleeps 10 - 12), 2 baths, a spacious, open kitchen/dining area (table seats 8; island seats 3), liviing room and den. Your kids will love the top floor bedroom. (We did.) It has 4 twin beds, plenty of closet space, and lots of privacy. Washer/dryer in basement. After a long day on the slopes, it's the perfect place to rest and kick back for the night. Located 1.5 - 2 miles from Loon Mtn., our home is a brief walk to downtown, the Common Man restaurant, and other points of interest. (Note: no scheduled shuttle service available from home to ski area.)

Our property is located in the heart of the White Mountains, in Lincoln, New Hampshire. This is a beautiful, little town with the main winter attraction being skiing. We are located approximately 1 mile from Loon Mtn., and about 20 minutes from Cannon Mtn. in Franconia. The property is located within walking distance of local restaurants, shopping, and theatre. Quiet neighborhood. There are several very nice restaurants in the area. Local taverns feature evening entertainment during the winter months.

Comfortable home in the mountains

This family home made a lovely place for my family to stay for my son's wedding. There were 9 of us for part of the time and we all fit in very comfortably and then we went down to 3 and although the property is large, we didn't feel "lost". The house is very well equipped, clean and comfortable and we appreciated the internet access and the board games! The house is within walking distance to "downtown" Lincoln and we were surprised at how well the grocery store was stocked. There is easy access from the house to the Kancamagus Highway and also to I93 making it an ideal location for sightseeing - the Basin, Canon Mountain Tramway, Littleton etc. Overall a good place to stay.

Excellent Choice for family reunion

My family had a reunion in this home several years back and it was wonderful. It has all the amenities you need and is extremely comfortable. The open, spacious kitchen is where we spent the majority of our time playing games. The rooms and beds are comfortable and it was very close and convenient to downtown and local area restaurants. I would highly recommend staying in the charming, comfortable home.

Feels like Home

We have been coming to Loon Mtn for the past 5 or 6 years attending the Highland Games. This by far has been the best home we have stayed in. All the rooms including the bedrooms are very spacious. With our group of 10 adults, we had plenty of room to relax. The kitchen opens into the dining room which makes it easy to cook and entertain. Within a short walk (5min), you are in the center of town where there is plenty of shops and restaurants, and don't forget to try the ice cream. We all had a wonderful weekend. Its nice that people open there homes for others to enjoy.

This is a beautifully decorated and well maintained home off the beaten path. Large with ample space for a family or two. It is perfect if you enjoy a nice quiet walk or bike road, and only a couple of blocks from downtown. Great restaurants and amenities are within walking distance from the wonderful wonderland of the Pemigewasset wildnerness. During our stay, in mid summer, we enjoyed flyfishing, hiking to Fraconia Falls, kayaking and swimming at the Lady's Bath. Truly great family fun, you will enjoy.

Great Location! Great Price!

I stayed at this house in January for skiing/snowboarding season. Not only is the house huge, it was completely stocked with all the necessities you would find at home. The owners are extremely nice and made you feel at home. The best area of the house is the kitchen. It's spacious and perfect for family gatherings. There is lots of parking as well. We actually fit four cars total on the driveway. I would definitely recommend this house to huge families.
