About Mary Kay James
I grew up in Lincoln with my 7 siblings and grandparents. Our mother grew up in Lincoln as well, and our father was from Staten Island, NY.
Our father was stern, introverted, disciplined, and hard working; our mother was outgoing, warm, hard working, great story teller, and had great sense of humor. As each of us grew up and went off to college, my parents' lives got easier and they eventually decided to downsize and relocate out West to get away from the harsh winters and to do some traveling. The decision was made by our parents that they would turn the home over to their children (along with the responsibility of taking care of it). We were more than pleased to accept the offer. We return often.
Why Mary Kay James chose Lincoln
This is our family home - where myself and 7 siblings grew up. Because of all the great memories we had being raised here in Lincoln, we wanted to keep the home in our family so that our children could experience some of what made our growing up years so memorable. We still use the home often and always looks forward to coming home.
What makes this house unique
Not just a house - but a 'home'.
Guestbook comments from the owner
We, along with another family, had the pleasure of renting this beautiful Lincoln property from Jan through March 2013. We easily housed 4 adults and three boys in this spacious house. It became our home away from home every weekend. We couldn’t wait to get to Lincoln every Friday night, and being located less than 5 minutes from Loon Mountain made skiing a delight. The kitchen had everything we needed to make Saturday night meals a wonderful après ski experience. The owners are wonderful and quickly responded to every request. Thank you for giving us the ski experience of a lifetime. We loved it!
