Absolutely Fantastic

  • 5 of 5
This place is fantastic, we had our wedding in Vermont and stayed here with several of our friends and everyone thought it was the best place! Everything was perfect and more than we could of imagined. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner who is absolutely wonderful! Stunning views that look like postcards of Vermont, tons of space, super clean with lots of character. Were already talking about booking it again for a ski vacation. Well worth it. Thanks for making our special occasion that much better! A 10 out of 10

Great location and views!

  • 4 of 5
This is the perfect place for a guys weekend for golf or skiing. We had a great time, and the owner is great to deal with. Perfect table for a big dinner and the porch is a great place to view the sunset over Sugarbush.
All and all this place is great.

Perfect Ski Vacation

  • 5 of 5
This house was fantastic! The entire group loved the place. The property was exactly as advertised, spotless and well maintained. The views from every room are great. I would recommend the place to anyone with a larger group (8-15 people) for a long weekend or week stay at Sugarbush. This is one of the closest properties on the entire mountain to the lifts. The fireplace is great after a long day in the cold, and there is an adjustable blower that helps warm the main room. Even with the large windows, and temperatures dropping below zero in the evenings, the house was warm and toasty once the heaters are set. The sauna was also a great way to soothe our sore muscles at the end of the day. The boot/glove driers are a very nice touch.

The Castlerock Pub is a great spot for lunch and après ski. The Timbers is a more upscale restaurant with great food (we went there our last night). Sugarbush has been great to us this season, but staying at this property made it that much more enjoyable. The owner was very easy to deal with, and provided everything we needed to make our stay easy and fun.

I really can not put into words how great this place is. Everyone in our group wants to return next season. Hopefully next time we can stay longer, because the only negative of the whole trip is that I wish I was still there!

Excellent home and location!

  • 5 of 5
This place is great, especially for large groups. The views are amazing, the location is perfect (it could only be better if it were slope side!), as it's only a minute drive to the mountain. Plenty of room for parking.

We rented with 18 people. The home is clean, warm and cozy, and has plenty of room. It's an ideal ski home. The rooms are comfortable and the dining room is huge… equipped with music accessories, a flat screen and a fire place--everything one might want after a long day of skiing. It has plenty of kitchen materials, which was highly appreciated, since we are skiers that prefer to cook and drink off the mountain. The owners provide a very detailed FAQ, which is a useful guide that every owner should provide renters. The owner is very responsive and helpful, as well.

Some of us did not ski -- plenty of other activities, including Burlington, which is a relatively short drive away.

No complaints.

House is beautiful and well kept. Had an issue with water pressure and the owner had it fixed within a few hours. Loved the layout, big windows, and wood fireplace.

Exactly what we were looking for.

  • 5 of 5
Perfect. 3 families totaling 6 adults and 7 kids. Plenty of room, plenty of beds, separation of louder kid activity, fully functional, clean, warm, great views, 5 minutes to the front door of Sugarbush and a fair and easy owner process. It could not have gone better.

Notes:
Flowing from the open architecture of the main floor, the kitchen is separated from the main living area by a custom pine breakfast bar. Your favorite tunes fill the air while chefs create, and sous chefs assist at the hand hewn wide pine countertop, which is a testament to the giant trees that once filled our forests. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the requisite pots, pans and utensils to prepare a feast for twenty. Woks, crock pots, pizza stones, etc. complement the traditional sauce pans and cookware. Chances are, that special spice is already there to perfect your meal. The front hallway contains 2 benches on which to sit and remove boots. A custom boot drying rack with built in blowers, a shelf which holds over a dozen pairs of boots and shoes, an upper rack for helmets, and pegs and hooks for gloves, scarves, goggles, makes it easy even for the kids to “put their stuff away”. Enjoy the sweet Sugarbush sunset and the brilliant night sky from the custom wrap around deck
