Notes: Flowing from the open architecture of the main floor, the kitchen is separated from the main living area by a custom pine breakfast bar. Your favorite tunes fill the air while chefs create, and sous chefs assist at the hand hewn wide pine countertop, which is a testament to the giant trees that once filled our forests. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the requisite pots, pans and utensils to prepare a feast for twenty. Woks, crock pots, pizza stones, etc. complement the traditional sauce pans and cookware. Chances are, that special spice is already there to perfect your meal. The front hallway contains 2 benches on which to sit and remove boots. A custom boot drying rack with built in blowers, a shelf which holds over a dozen pairs of boots and shoes, an upper rack for helmets, and pegs and hooks for gloves, scarves, goggles, makes it easy even for the kids to “put their stuff away”. We rented this home in the fall of 2008 with several other couples, including 5 children. The house had a great layout, including an open floor plan that allowed for the adults to catch up while keeping an eye on the kids. The bedrooms were comfortable and nicely spread out over three floors. The lower floor included a game room that proved to be fun for both the adults and kids. Also, the owner Michael was wonderful to work with!
